Turn the idle up bro it’s suffering, you’ll damage cam and lifters if you run a hydraulic cam too low at idle
@@tzon6802 right on lol
How many horses?
Something tells me it may not last long at that power level?
@@Johnson-uy9xq they do, this engine was also hurt from the beginning. It was a dod failure engine with very low oil psi.
Congrats!! That’s gettn down!!
What size front tires are you running?
How does the 325 gear do with daily driving or around town driving I would like to drive to the track and back or to the car meet and cruise.
What did this setup run at the drag strip?
12.6 in the 1/4
New subscriber awesome build wanted to ask if you will be doing a video on your fuel system?Or if not can you say what fuel pumps you use?
Yeah I will try to get one done here for you this weekend
Low timing high boost?
What tire is it?
It's a 275/60/15 vigor galaxy. Can be found on ebay

Very good work!

Do you think you’re ready for Dunkmaster?
I have never tried big wheels. He's got a promod on big wheels, out of my league lol
Nice work man.
Holy shit how
Hey bud what backspace are your 10" wheels? Thank you. Love the car and vids!!
Thanks! They are 15x10 with a 4.5" backspace. But.... The rearend has been narrowed 1" on both sides.
Looking for possible part #s for the coil over springs and adjustable perches
For the rear? They are from trick chassis. They have all that on their website. The coil over springs are summit racing brand. They are about $50 each. I switch between three different sizes. Usually I use 12" 110lb springs in the rear and have them compressed about 6-7". The stored energy aids in seperation
@fastvsix okok...that's whats up. Thanks man. What is the size and offset of the rear rims you're running and what's the sizing on the rear tire?
What back housings are on those turbos?
What ball joints did you use? Do you have a part number? Thanks
Second fire up? Flat tappet cam? If so why? Why gamble your whole rotating assy? Comp Cams quality or lack of, cost me my whole rotating assy in my 390. About 2k to get a new crank, and ALL the bearings and gaskets and go to a Howards Cams hydraulic roller cam and lifters and different springs and retainers and custom made Manton pushrods. No break in or worrying with the roller, just fire it up and move on.
Second and number 200+ and it's all good. Stock cam and lifters
How high are you revving that thing out to the 1/8?
what u running for lifters, pushrods and rockers?
Stock rockers. Btr LS7 lifters and trick flow pushrods.
@@fastvsix okay, i didn’t know if stock rockers could handle .480 lift
@@westogarage crap, I was thinking of my other car that's a LS lol. This is a flat tappet cam with comp camps hydraulic lifters and comp cams 1.6 roller rockers. Stock pushrods.
@@fastvsix did you end up going with guided rocker arms or non-guided? The heads I have I can run either or
@@westogarage I had the vortec heads milled for guide plates and went with screw in rocker studs. It has guide plates.
What kind of boost is it taking to run those #'s with the 67's?
I maxed out the 3 bar for these passes. Judging by fuel psi and dome psi, I was around 30ish
Nice👍
Love that era of Buicks, Olds, & Chevs. Beautiful cars. She’s slick & (damn) quick! 👍
Great driving . Very consistent.. car WORKS WELL
Thanks!
Congratulations man,that’s awesome….!
That’s 8.60 q-mile
Hoping to go 8 50's this year on the Midwest Drag and Drive event
1.29 60’ 5.41 1/8 Is crazy quick! Is that a stg 2 ?
It's a stock bottom end and headed 5.3. This car was never a turbo v6 car. I bought it 3 years ago as a bone stock na v6 car. I've had two 9 second turbo v6 cars. I wanted to try something different this time. My budget wasn't v6 friendly unfortunately
@@fastvsix I get it The LS is as strong as a Stg2 Buick but with 2 more cylinders and 5% of the cost
Wish I’d have never sold my 86 GN
Yooooooo... Give some secrets for make good runs un hard tire
Congrats job well done 👍🏽
Thanks!!
Nice job!! Congrats on the win
Thanks!
Awesome pass!! What did it 60'?
The fact you said low budget is hilarious.
Looks pretty budget to me
@@Mr73cheyenne probably took every bit of 5k to build. Nothing budget about that
Are the 110 lbs springs in the back stiff enough? That seems a little light for the weight of the car. I'm building a street car where I will have people in the back sometimes and once in a while hit the track. What would you recomend for that situation? I could have up to 3 people in the back sometimes for street use.
I have three different springs I run. I use the 110# 12" when I am not running weight in the trunk. They are compressed to about 5", giving me 7" of stored energy to help with seperation. For normal street driving, I use either 130# 12" or 150# 10" springs. The 110# ones aren't the best for comfortable street driving.
QA1 tech support recommended 200 lbs springs for the rear. I will be lowering the car around 3". what you think?@@fastvsix
Depends what the use is for. For drag racing that might be stiff. For regular driving or autocross that might be good. Also depends on how tall the springs you are using. When I have mine setup for the track, there is only 1" of suspension travel downwards. I set it up so the rear of the car raises up (seperates) 3"
What motor mounts did you use ?
What size tire is that?
275/60/15
Do you have an idea on what your a/s numbers are?
yes sirrrr send it!
Did you try 411 gears?
I actually got 4.10's in it right now because all the races the last couple months been 1/8th. I leave in second gear. Working pretty good.
Epic pass brother
Like that color
Before you did the adjustable arms did you have any antisquat or would it just squat?
Always had the adjustable arms on this car
@@fastvsix ok cool thanks, I only ask because my buddies g body seems to not have any separation. But I haven't plotted the 4 link yet to see what the antisquat is. Next time im around the car I will. I definitely think we need adjustable arms to get some antisquat into the car to go faster
@@95poo40sx I dont get caught up anymore in plotting them. Usually it'll only seperate until the top bar is level. So, if you have the rearend on the ground, you can jack up the body until the top bar is flat, that'll will usually be your max seperation. If the the top bar is already flat at ride height, you are really going to struggle to get any seperation
You have yourself a helluva nice running car
Man 8sec is dawn pretty good with 31 spline axle l like 👍 👍👍
