Agreed! Straw method for the win! Pushed string all the way through 1/2 of a straw, tied small knot at end of string and caterpillar-ed straw through til end. 20 seconds. Done.

Hi, i tried the method outlined here 2:43, it takes out 90% of the slimes, so thank you for that. the rest 10% is so stuck in by baby's thin fine hair it's just too painful to be removed so I used a leave-in hair conditioner to get them out.

Last time I kept tools in my garage the 2 people I was keeping handcuffed to bracket bolted to the concrete were able to use them to escape! I no longer store any tools there, and it's unfortunate because it's such great storage!

My solutions is I use cold soapy water also in the start and dish soap and water. Pour it over the spot that has slime on it and use your fingernails and like a towel scrape stuff, scrape slime off your fingernails and rub the soapy spots hopefully the pieces of carpet away from each other.

I noticed, at the beginning of the video, that when you opened your car door you were looking at the inside of your car instead of looking if you will be dinging the car next to you with your door. Always look at the car next to you when you open your door, either entering or leaving your car. You already know what your car’s interior looks like.

I have two vehicles that I consider cars. I drive a truck at work (International Dura-Star). I have a GMC Suburban & a Chevrolet Avalanche. The only way I can park them to fit in my garage is to back one against the wall so the mirror on the passenger side is just about touching the wall. I back in until the rear bumper makes contact with the wall. I put it in park & the vehicle will roll slightly ahead so it’s not touching the wall. Then I fold both mirrors in. Next I back the other vehicle in so the outside mirrors are almost touching. Again same method with parking. I only have enough room to get out. No I can’t fit anything along the walls or at the back wall like you can.

Several years ago we replaced all 3 toilets in our home. Two had to be round because of the configuration of the bathroom and the swing of the door. The 1 elongated toilet is a Toto comfor height. If we ever move, I am putting that toilet in the house we move into. That toilet has never failed to flush everything.

A dual flush toilet is for both saving water from being wasted and for putting out less waste water to a septic system. I live where I have a septic field and treating that system well can make its lifespan longer. You don’t want to rebuild a $20,000 septic system. And wasting water for a toilet flush is quite ignorant

To me, most important is a vortex flush, water swirls around the bowl to keep it clean, with water from the rim not the bottom.
