worst take ive ever heard on we major
When someone hears Kelly Price for the first time ❤😅
please react to another Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony song i'm begging you.
Embrace the long videos, i love them, (you could record it in one sitting and then release your typical videos, but then release mostly unedited footage)
you gotta react to earl sweatshirt and tyler the creator
donda actually died 2 years after hey mama was released back in 2007. she was 58, and if u think that’s emotional, u should watch “Kanye 2008 Grammy Performance” where he performs hey mama just months after his mom’s death. the music is different and sadder, as well as his mood. i cried myself lol
You should definitely listen to a whole Travis Scott album
Why is there a remix of Diamonds? Why are both versions on the album? Why is the Remix before the original? The answer to all your questions is Jay-Z.
The feature on Drive Slow was the Houston Tex legend Paul Wall
Now that you’ve listened to the first two albums, I recommend this concert featuring songs from those two albums and other hits from that era of Kanye. So you can see that the magic doesn’t just happen in the studio: Search: Kanye North Sea Jazz Festival 2006 and enjoy it! Nice react men
Sometimes you gotta let the music kick in for a minute instead of just pausing every second
The term "freestyle" in its origin just meant you spit something that's free of style, aka without a focused topic or a cohesive narrative structure you'd expect from raps written for a song. It doesn't mean it has to be off the cuff, as the VAST majority of freestyles are written beforehand. Improvized-only happens a lot more in battle rap environments.
I NEED THE NEXT ALBUM REACTION!!!
And that you shall have! At some point - Working through some exams atm 😅
Kendricks answer is to seek God. one thing you need to know about kendrick is that he is deeply spiritual and religious.
Ok ik im super late but sing about me im dying of thirst is very hard to grasp the meaning first listen. Ok so the first part is sing about me. First he sings about his friend and his friend’s brother. They were in a gunfight and his friends brother gets shot. Kendrick hold him as he passes. Then his friend goes out for revenge and ends up getting shot himself (thats where the gunshots interrupt him). Then we have a story about a girl. She is having an argument with kendrick about how don’t sing about her sister (keisha) because she was a prost… that died. Then she says she will sell herself too and she feels fine and doesnt need a doctor, but later dies from which im assuming is stds (never fade away and then her voice fades away). Then it goes into kendrick talking about his worries and problems of how he thinks and questioning is he worth being sung about? Then switches into dying of thirst. Which is basically just him answering the question he had of is he worth it with all the sins he has caused by getting baptized.
My personal favorite
PLZ POST A REACTION OF 808s and Heartbreak it does have lot of autotune but its very experimental and its an amazing experience.
He bought the drum from MARILYN MANSON th-cam.com/video/Ypkv0HeUvTc/w-d-xo.html
Bring Out Your Dead makes me drive very dangerously
Missed you bro
Great reaction! 😁
finally
Wow, you're wrong. Take a look at just rock. It's freaking terrible now. It's become cosplay. Name a band that has taken the rock world by storm in the last 20 years? I think the last super rock band was Nickleback. Quite unfortunate but true. There just is no character in music or musicians anymore. I mean there are literally zero bands with any charisma anymore. This is due to younger people living more isolated lives and living through social media etc. I grew up with Plant, Mercury, Roth, John, Springsteen, Rose Cobain and so on. They all had that X factor that made them great. NO ONE in so-called rock bands today has that. And technology has made music disposable and homogeneous. Albums were just a big deal in the rock era. Producers were just as talented as the musicians in the rock era. No priducers are literally preset pushers with zero creativity.
this album is such an amazing experience
lets go ive been waiting for bro to post this video
Kanye won a Grammy for each of his first 3 albums
That's quite the run haha
I was looking forward to this considering you made an excellent review of his first album. Also sorry to hear about your concussion, hope your healed well.
Thanks man!
Kanye can actually sing pretty well the autotune is a stylistic choice
This was awesome, hope you do more albums from the boy$! I also think you hit on this a bit in the video but to me, what makes them so great, is they're genuine. Their sound to me is best described by raw but well produced. Its like listening to a local punk band that had top level production.
Also, to go further into this. This was the peak of their drug addiction, $crim was in drug induced psychosis during the duration of the album. He is the one with the gravely, deep voice. As far as I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding my Heal IV, its a "series" they do. Its usually 3 songs they would release at the end of the year and they would mostly recap on their year(at least that's my opinion) they released the fourth one on this album But as one whole song, instead of 3 separate songs grouped together.
TPAB is gonna blow your mind
ngl listening to hey mama makes me so emotional lol. especially with its context
you can't help but groove to fade lmfao that simple bass line is just so good
oh man you want emotional, watch kanye premerie his song dear mama in front of his own mother on the oprah show, it's like easily the most heartwarming mother son moments ever imo
Ugh, I think that might have me sobbing ngl 😅 idk if you're refering to Hey Mama, but at risk of spoiling a bit about my reaction to late registration, that song hit me super hard 😅
@@dyver123 yep sry always get it mixed with tupacs song dear mama, but yep he held it for 5 years after writing it hoping he'd get the opportunity to perform it for his mother, which he did ON THE FREAKIN OPRAH SHOW lmfao its beautiful to watch
Hi August, I really enjoy the videos you've been putting out! I'm curious what other people may have to say but here is a list of hip-hop albums I think you may appreciate to get into down the road that I think you're ready for. Cheers! Big-K.R.I.T. - 4 Eva is a Mighty Long Time Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030 DMX - It's Dark and Hell is Hot Dr.Dre - The Chronic Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele J-Dilla - Donuts JPEGMAFIA - Veteran Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Little Simz - Sometimes I Might Be Introvert MFDOOM - Madvillainy Nas - Illmatic Westide Gunn - Pray for Paris Wu-Tang Clan- Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
Please do Notorious Thugs by Bone Thugs and Biggie…its a super classic
Completely missed the Outro lol
If you think late registration is good you’d love MBDTF it has heavy rock elements, some of Kanye’s best production, Amazing verses, innovative maximalist rap voted the best albums of the 2010s and one of the greatest albums any genre
GRADUATION PLEASE
Kanye actually spent $2 million on making Late Registration, and put himself $600,000 in debt, which just shows how much dedication he had to making the music as good as possible
tpab and late registration are the two greatest hip hop albums of all time no cap
1:26:45 dont you mean sierra madre?
please please please do tpab i cant wait any longer🙏
TPAB is indeed up next!
He needs to listen to enter the 36th chamber by the wutang clan🙏

No argument could ever justify putting WE MAJOR IN D TIER im sorry 😭😭
2:24:30 Late is actually a hidden track, so really Gone which packs a punch with ye's verse at the end is supposed to act as the album closer
he didn't start using autotune until 2008 with 808s and heartbreak
I’m so sorry but the ENTIRE point of We Major is that’s it’s supposed to be overindulgent 😭 it’s a celebration of how far he’s come
That is very fair haha
A 1 hour and 10 minute album turned into a 2 hour reaction WOW (also we major is my favorite Kanye song)
