It's not really an Indian issue. It's more of the influx of immigrants coming into Canada in such a short amount of time. The infrastructure is not set to accommodate so many people. The government is using these international students to pay these higher school costs but, in return, is not using the money to benefit the country.

This video is extremely disappointing because you failed to address the real elephant in the room. That is of course, the impact of the temporary foreign workers (TFW’s). TFW wages are subsidized and THD has aggressively replaced local workers with TFW’s, who, because they are not Canadians can’t be blamed for not having Canadian values. They have no investment or connection to the communities they service. I get that in cities this is not such a big deal, because cities have become rude and unfriendly places. However in small town Canada where THD used to be a meeting place their impact is obvious and negative. There is a language barrier, there is a distinct lack of hygiene and pride of work. It is easier to serve shit coffee to a stranger than a person who you know by name. The work ethic is just not there. I live near a small town of less than 10,000 people. On a Friday night the only thing to do is go to the rink and see the Junior C team play. Well THD is supposed to be open till 11:00, but because things were slow they locked the door at 10:20. Well at 10:30 when the game ended and there was a rush of people intending to grab a snack for the ride home (some people drive over an hour to come to the games) they were met with locked doors and the TFW’s leaving completely unapologetic. This is now normal. Once you figure that you can’t even depend on a store to be open during its published hours you stop being a patron. None of this went on when local people worked at THD. Now it is completely run by TFW’s and frankly is shit.

With a 5 month old baby, it could've been postpartum depression. Esp. in the states where there isn't really a maternal leave. More than once I read where us employers only offered 3 weeks mat leave, very wicked imo. Idk if the father was doing his part with the children, but dealing with a new baby is hard with or without help. Sad all around tho.
