I hate using VNDs. The polarization is visible, colors shift, you might get an X, even with hardstops on a wide... Id rather stick with solid NDs

What do I think? I think it's far from IMAX. Around 55mm diagonal vs around 85mm diagonal. That's a significant difference. It's clearly two of their 12K sensors stitched together. It's cool, and I'd love a chance to shoot with it, but it actually uses a smaller image circle than a full frame sensor with a medium format focal reducer. Pair a GFX sensor with a .71 focal reducer (which exists) and you get MUCH closer to IMAX. If I was to guess- RED will not in the distant future release a camera with three VV sensors stitched together into a size that will still fit inside the 645 image circle.

I have NiSi VND and it is amazing with NO Color cast at all. Really a True Color VND. But I am looking to get a MatteBox with the VND system in it... Thanks!

I got that keychain a year ago from them. Within a month it totally fell apart because the fucks didnt tighten the screws and it fell apart all over the ground due to a month of micro vibrations from me walking. I use a carabiner for my keys. Rip laowa aperture keychain. Barely knew ya

Starkes Video mal wieder. Hab ja jetzt acuh meine Ausbildung beim NDR angefangen und struggle ein bisschen damit, meine eigenen Projekte und die Seminare/Arbeit unter einen Hut zu kriegen (wobei ich auch erst 2 Wochen da bin haha). Dein Statement am Ende vom Video werde ich mir auf jeden Fall zu Herzen nehmen und einfach coolen Stuff machen. Mach du auf jeden Fall weiter so, finde deine Videos einfach nur krass gut. You should do an episode on the YC Onion Pineta Peak. I'm pretty sure most retailers have banned it because it infringes on the Sachtler Flowtech patent .
