Now I realised what doesn't work for me I think the gloves should be at least white too much gold on gold weighs my eyeballs down and with a more heavy duty dress like she needs to have a more heavy duty hairstyle that's what seems out step. And maybe her waist should be cinched a little more in the look accentuated more as a tiny waist was so revered in that century - was where it's all at. Makes a girl appreciate breathing a lot more today though we don't mind the make belief & the Artistry of it all in the metaverse.

I guess I can understand why the period was more was more but Jeepers, you went through so much trouble. People never understand appreciate how much work is involved in just making one frame look beautiful unless you are a creator. But I, as a person who's living in an era where less is more, I can see why they ran with the simplicity of Emma's dress. In particular because Emma is such a simple and uncomplicated person, I think it speaks to the modern princess in all of us better. It is actually my favourite version of Beauty and the Beast. But I didn't enjoy watching your video and personal personal journey of creating your ideal Bell dress. Hopefully, one day, you'll get to wear it. That's what I wish for you!

The one i NEEDED to see was the main showstopper dress. This was an appetizer to the final dress, that shimmering blue dress that moved like water that King Triton made her. They left that out, that dress is what belle's yellow ballgown and cinderellas blue ballgown were to them. The big happy ending reveal. And we got...what we got.

I saw this video time ago, and it comes back to me now, and the truth is that your work behind this whole project is fascinating. However, now that I have more experience, I do conceptual arts and I understand tailoring and design... It's very complicated to recreate fictional dresses, as often the physics of the fabrics don't correspond to the texture they are given, and to bring such a dress to reality and have it make such fine movements knowing the amount of pleats in the skirt, I think it's impossible. In my opinion, I would have made a design that is a mix of the current live action dress as a central axis (so that the skirt acquires that fluidity of movement), I would add a layer that gives a certain refined and historical solidity based on a design of the 18th century, and finally I would add details that belong to the original film. I think this would combat the 3 issues of this dress: period, dynamism, elegance and nostalgia.

The gown was horrible!! Emma Watson was the most terrible, woke actress for this part!!!! I can not tell how much I have written about this!!! Emma was entititled on set and they gaVE HER WAY TO MUCH SAY IN HER COSTUMES!!! sHE WAS THE ONE WHO SAID NO CORSTETS EVEN THOUGH CORSTETS WERE HISTORICALLY CORRECT BITCH!!! I also hated the ear cuff, very trashy looking. Belle would never wear an ear cuff, whats next a tatoo that says "I'm the best guest their is" Disney wokeness at it's best or worse?

Guys please correct me if I'm wrong but this is just what I have heard. Apparently Emma was also part of the problem. She didn't want to wear a corset or a petticoat under the dress cause she was too "woke" to do that. So they had to remove some details from the dress and make it look larger with cgi. Ik the dress is plain bad but this is just what I heard!

I'd also slap a voluminous wig on Emma Watson instead of her shitty, hopelessly modern, flat hair.

That looks heavy and bulky like a bunch of comforters...
