The sideway one FINALLY did it. So relieved
I feel a sort of irrational terror and a weird feeling in my eye when it is held open and my finger is approaching. Because of this, I fail to keep it open. I really want contact lenses but its proving to be quite difficult. (I have had 3 hours with an optician so far, got them in and out just a single time. 😢)
My glasses give me astigmatism
Wow! So easy? Thank you so much. For a minute I thought I'm stuck with contact lenses forever!
For some of us it doesnt work like that. First of all, if I am trying to put in PRESCRIPTION contacts, its because I CANT SEE UP CLOSE WITHOUT GLASSES! You cant put a contact in your eye while wearing glasses now can you??" Therefore, its common sense that I'm not going to be able to see where the contact is going in at or if I even have my eye open enough! Every one of these type of videos are put on by someone who DOES NOT have problems seeing closeup!
If you have dry eyes and use something like clear eyes will it do more hurt than good. I just bought them and want to know of i should definitely return tgem or if there an okay option
I was in the middle of trying the first method and I took them both out within 1 minute. Love this.
This is an excellent tutorial. I was having trouble getting my lenses in after my first fitting, but this seems to have given me the tips i needed to start getting them in quickly
This video really helped, thank you!!
I just got my first pair of costume contacts today. I was having a major struggle but I watched this and got 'em in on the second go :) Many thanks!
This is the most helpful video about this problem. Many options and one of them finally worked for me. Dry fingers is key, I used my hair dryer to dry them out! Many thanks.
Yeah.. I'm not listening to an eye doctor tell me how great contacts are when they're wearing glasses the entire time..
touché 😆
What about the process for hard lenses?
Great video. Had my first experience trying to put contacts in I manganged to get the right 1 in but the left I couldn't but in saying that I wouldn't say having a very pushy and unpatient staff member pushing you out the door to feel comfortable putting them in help much. Oh and left me with a blood shot eye. 😢
Excellent job on this tutorial. Thank you.
Hello, pls reply me if u see this. I got my 1st contacts 2 days ago. My question is, do I really have to change the lens cases every 3 months? Is it bad to use the same cases for a year? My lenses are yearly lenses. And do I wash the cases only with contact solutions and nothing else?
Thank you guys for helping me to make a good decision for this as i have been wearing all sorts of contacts for many decades. Peace
Warning: impossible with long nails! 😫
Thank you very much. Your detailed instructions and example, with right and wrong, was what I needed! ❤
My daughter is 14, we spent so long at the optometrist and again at home as I, myself, a long time contact user, tried coaching her. It was so frustrating. She watched your video and the 1st method was all she needed, those contacts were out within the next minute!!
We're so happy to hear method 1 worked for her!
THANKS .... This is superbbb tip. I remove my lens within a sec. Great 👍. Well-done
omg omg omg omg I AM WEARING LENSES....finally. I struggled to wear lenses for so long- i keep blinking every time and it's a reflex action I can't control. The tip about looking at the mirror from the side was the most helpful for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH TOT
thank you so much for including a left handed method 😁😁
Able to get the right contact lens out on the other hand it takes me a bit longer to get the left contact lens out.
Great explanation. Thank you!
I just have simple reading glasses from a rack at Wal-Mart, but they help me a LOT. The only number I have for the glasses is 275. What does that mean?
I have no idea how you guys do that. I've tried like a hundred times and still can't do that. My eyes just don't open that wide and even if I manage to put on the lens it's wavy so I have to take it out. 😢
I’m a little confused about something. Is there a different eye exam done for glasses vs contact lenses? I got my exam done and they didn’t ask whether it was for contact lenses or glasses.
How many days can we use the lens solution??till the bottle ends or 30days
Much thank you! Spent half an hour at the store getting used to their method. Got home couldn't replicate it and had to try something else. Method 1 ftw
How to we know the contact lenses are inside out? Do you have any trick for this?because i am the beginner
very very useful, i am yet to try it but before hand my issues was keeping the eye open so now i have figured out how to keep it open, hopefully it works!!
Such an informative video, it explained all the needed details. I am able to make a right decision regarding my lenses. Thanks a bunch for putting it together!
THANK YOU!!!! THE LORD OR WHOEVER YOU BELIEVE IN, WILL BE BLESSED TO HAVE YOU.
define overwearing please.
I get so angry with myself as I just start blinking like mad every time, and my eye rolls right back in my head... It shouldn't take 3 hours each eye! Now my eyes are so red raw that I can't even attempt to follow the directions in the video.
my eye sight is perfect but I’m getting colored contacts for cosplay. Glad I saw this
2:03 as u mention plus and minus are same for cylinder glass power? Is it true?
I had two checkups one of the opthalmologist has given +0.75 of cylinder and other has given -0.5 of cylinder for both eyes? What is correct i dont understand is minus plus is same
Nice GLASSES.
How do i keep my eye open i start blinking 😂
I’m getting contacts very soon and I’m not sure how to care for them. Do I put solution in my eyes before use? Do I store them with solution?
Hi, you can watch our video about cleaning your contact lenses here th-cam.com/video/C2tnKPyw-Nc/w-d-xo.html
What about wearing contacts in rainy weather does anybody know if it’s safe?
That's fine 🙂
@@EyesExplained can you explain please because its water?
Thank you I was able to got my contact out. thank god. Lol
i have worn contacts for 45 years. Lately I have had trouble taking them out. The first solution in your video resolved my issue. So EASY!! I've been doing it the hard way all this time. Thanks!!
It's never too late to try something different! Glad to hear you found technique 1 easy.
Well visine caused my left pupil to dilate so large and cause blurred vision and swelling in face as well as a sharp intense headache. I originally thought I was having a stroke because I had similar symptoms according to the ambulance. I was transferred to hospital done all these tests, scans and it turns out it was the eye drops I had put in my eye.
Oh no! That must have been frightening to think you may be having a stroke.
Why would someone share contacts? If people won't hare thier underware, then why da hell would you share contacts? GROOS!!!🤢🤢🤢
Exactly! So gross 😖
@@EyesExplained Are these videos of people talking about how they swim or select in their contacts. Now their vision is messed up. What do they expect you're told day 1 In contact insertion in removal not to do that
Dr. Thank you. I fellow all theses. I do my best to clean mine properly. I was told by a retired optometrist that you should never fly in your contacts either. The reason is the pressurized air dries out your eyes more and it can cause redness in your eyes, and it can also make your eyes hurt. I'm sure you knew that cause you're a doctor but I didn't know that. I rotate between my glasses and my contacts. I wear monthways, so there are some time when I go a week with glasses. Just gives the eyes a break
That is true! The air on planes can definitely dry your eyes and contacts. Best to stick with glasses for flying 👓
Ah, I was not expecting to hear Australian accents when I clicked on this. I am new to contacts, it takes me about fifteen minutes to put them in but I do enjoy wearing them. Thanks so much for explaining things. Hello from Perth!
Hello fellow Perthian!
These videos were such a Blessing thank you so much
