As the health of the world’s coral reefs hold at a delicate balance, regulations for coral exportation become stricter and more limited. We strive to bring you the healthiest and most colourful aquarium-cultured corals possible, having very little impact on the natural environment. The majority of our corals have been cultivated in aquarium conditions for many years. We promise to only ship corals that we as hobbyists would be pleased to receive ourselves.

Looking forward to part 2!
I’m just wondering the name of the coral on the thumbnail? Thanks for the information
Chris is a home run, the more time you have the better the interview. A year later, listening again, you two cover a lot of “off the beaten path” topics.
thanks man! Definitely need to finish this series early next year! They are a lot of work (for me in editing) haha
This was so good I've come back to it and listened again. Really looking forward to the results Salem.
I run 1 Simplicity Pump,, it’s very reliable. Whine noise but a solid pump no issues. I got rid of the spinoid worms with Ivermectin. I followed the R2R thread. I did the out of tank treatment, removed colonies
These shows are great! Thanks for sharing love the dialogues
Damn. He goes a little too nuclear with the ciprofloxacin.
Would you consider Alge turf scrubber as effective tool to manage low values of DOC ?
I just found your channel but ive met aand purchased from Tin and he's the man for corals. Subscribing specifically for these podcasts keep it up!
Great video!
Hey Adam, Tuesdays JUST opened up for inpactful livestreams 😉😂
Greta show! Sharing sand used to be a common practice back in the day. I would be curious if Aquabiomics can validate that the bagged sand like miracle mud and life source have the same effectiveness.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I also use the AF ReefSalt. I have like 4 boxes of it that I bought in this last sale! :D
try the hybrid pro. u will love that :)
@christofferjensen9872 I might. Have to get through these boxes first!
@@emmaruyle6617 I got it on sale too thinking I’d try it. It sucks, low on everything. It mixed lower than the ICP it showed on their barcode at 35.5ppt.
Love your podcast bro. ❤. I learn so much
Jason Fox , Paletta, Sanjay, and so many more use regular old instant ocean salt. The hype around higher priced salts is all marketing.
POTO,Tidal Gardens, and WWC use Reef Crystals too.
You can definitely keep a nice reef with IO. I don't like how IO mixes up slowly and leaves a residue.
I'm doing my first water change with Reef Crystals today (in over a decade), so I will definitely update how it goes!
They have thousands of gallons of water and do basically weekly icp tests and treat it as a full time job. You do not. My buddies 250gallon tank has been wiped out twice by bad batches of IO. Most recently about 3 months ago his zinc shot up to 250 But because he does icps every couple months instead of weekly it was too late. The crazy part is that if you are buying salt retail because you are not a business or have thousands of gallons IO is only like $10 cheaper than most "high end salts" i used to use reef crystals, but i was tired of my mixing bin being full of disgusting crud and bird feathers.
@ Been reefing for over 20 years. Always used IO salt. Your buddy just had other issues. Technically coral farms do water changes daily because they bag the water for shipping and replace the saltwater.
You have such a buttoned up podcast. Professional and entertaining, great job.
Great interview. Totally 😉
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Hey Adam, question for you: I recall in one of the episodes you spoke about coral boring Spionid worms. I cannot for the life of me find the exact episode, but I’d love to hear if you have any tricks to kill them. I have them in my current tank and I’m desperately trying to not have them in my new tank as they completely ruin the look of the acropora and encrusting corals. Any meds you’ve found that will eliminate them?
I think u spelled his name wrong
@@hoandinh8891 nope, that’s the traditional spelling, but he said he prefers ‘Tin’, so I might change it
I haven’t watched the video yet but tin is the man!
I think you should get more guests who specialize in LPS. Although I love SPS but world of LPS is very interesting too.
Tin is amazing/ absolute powerhouse when it comes to corals ❤
The man, the myth , the legend! 😎🍺
Great video! A lot of great information
Tired of you guys hoarding in on my “no longer” cheap salt,,, (Tidal Gardens was using IO too at one point)
Haven't seen the video yet.. grinding the coffee now. Always excited for your podcast releases. Thank you in advance for the episode!
Soaking the plugs is a good tip. ,, Crap,, oh black ones, I don’t use them but I paved 2 tanks with 3” squares. One tank 8’.
Electric toothbrush!! Great idea!! Thank you.
I have yet to met a man with the last name “Nguyen” who can’t keep Acro’s. 😅
By far the worst episode so far - and this has nothing to do with Adam. Misleading or half truths. Insulting to science and intellectuals alike.
Doug is simply chock full of more crap than a chicken farm. but is it his fault that he wants to be just like Claude?
“I’ve listened up to the 12-minute mark and I really don’t like what I’ve heard so far. From what I’ve gathered from other sources, it seems that many of the products on the market aren’t even cultivating true marine bacteria. Mixing all this stuff together and growing it and dosing it Mann seems scary to me
Excellent video!!
Do you do water changes with this method?
@@3r1ckt0rr35 yep!
🎉🎉 hi Rudy!
That was a great episode, I really enjoyed that one! You guys had some great talking points and I love the two of your energies.
@@scotty2salty327 thanks! He was a really fun guest! Great corals too
Great podcast with Rudy. He’s been around for many years and has some beautiful corals. I’ve seen him many times at different coral shows. Very nice & knowledgeable guy
Hi Adam! This was a great episode thanks :) very different interesting content! Only thing that i didn't fully get was the "green washing" of corals with re-export. Would this be the case if "country x" imports corals legally but also illegally. And then they may export the illegal corals to another country with the Cites of the corals that were originally legally imported? Is this how corals turns up from countries that usually do not export to western countries?
Avast Kalk are not good. The way it doses Kalk dilutes the solution as it’s dosed. Better is to mix a large container like 50 gallons and dose it that way. Better as it’s a consistent dose.
We now accept tests for Fauna Marin and send them directly to Germany from our Los Angeles facility. This is beneficial to all West Coast states. We send tests out every Tuesday and Thursday.
Rudy is always good to listen to! I enjoyed talking to him at the LEAR swap in Ohio.
Wowzers, what an awesome guy!!! I met that him and bought a hologram hammer from him at the last Aquashella in Dallas and had no idea he was such an industry pro!!! Perfect example of a guy who does not promote himself online, but is incredibly knowledgeable!!! Thanks for having him on!!!
Yes, another great interview , thank you very much. I picked up a few tips
I haven't even watched this yet, but I know it's going to be great. Rudy has a wealth of knowledge that often gets overlooked. Thank you for having him on!
Ok, it’s just become clear to me why my freaking reef crystals has gotten boutique expensive,,, all these guys using it now. I miss my $56 200 gal box of crystals from a few years ago 😢
I'm with you. I'm using Reef Crystals now for 27 years. I actually switched to the REGULAR Instant Ocean. They started putting less Magnesium in Reef Crystals, did you notice? I now have to dose it and I never had to before.
Awesome. Always look forward to your podcast!! Thank you for another excellent podcast.
Do you boil the Particulates in the Rodi water
Can we all take a minute to reflect how far we've come in terms of understanding our tanks in such a short period of time? Remember, less than 10 years ago we were told nitrates and phosphates are bad, and you want to keep them at 0 at all times. Excellent podcast, as usual.
Anyone know who makes these black acrylic frag racks?
