The Sega version isn't bad but the SNES had better sound and uses the iris out when Pac Man fails. The only thing Sega did good was the game intro screen with Pac-Man eating the words.

the story behind man-pac is quite the fun one. man-pac is actually a frankenstein-like creation of kinky's (the yellow ghost from arrangement). man-pac ends up running off, but since the main 4 are too busy after the real pac and his family, kinky sends the extra ghosts (sue, funky, spunky, and tim) after him. cutscenes wouldve hinted toward this, but the creator couldnt figure out how to program them.

I used to have the OG 1988 G&W as a kid. used to spend hours sitting in front of a lamp playing this game.

This is a cute looking game and I love how it's about Penguins and takes place in the Artic Was this Sega's answer to something like Pac-Man? Or not to me it definitely feels like it resembles it or at least was inspired by it

Probably the earliest version of fire. Its far less detailed and more basic looking than the widescreen version. Theres no visible ground, no background paint, there is no "MISS" word. And biggest difference: You don't get a point by simply bouncing a person. You have to bounce the person all the way to the ambulance to score a point. Also, the people lack a unique sprite when landing on the ground. Also, the building is a sprite instead of background art. Same with the fire, there is no smoke coming out of the fire either

Just played this for the first time today. This is a surprisingly fun game, definitely has a kind of Smash Bros feel to it, no joke. Love getting that spinach can and uppercutting that kidnappy Bluto s.o.b. right onto that meat hook. Good stuff Nintendo.

I played Pac-Man TIC-80 before, and it was awesome! But you modded it in 8x8 and 16x16? This seems to be a very cool thing! The 16x16 version is the one I'm looking forward to play soon!
