If you wanna see really cool hologram style performances, I'd recommend watching a Hatsune Miku performance. Which just in case you've never heard of her, while she has a provided voice she isn't a real person just character. However as long you buy a license anyone can make a song using the software. It's super cool and people make some really cool songs. They put on idol level performances so I'd recommend checking it out.

I think it could potentially be live, but I expect the best option for them would be to pre-record… The physical performance likely isn’t her because she can barely walk around due to the effects of her condition, so I highly doubt she’s dancing about… She could be singing live, but that could be fraught with issues for a live show… I expect they recorded new audio and then fit visuals to it or whatever… I do think some VTuber concerts are live though, because I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of the people going to the venue to perform, even though they aren’t directly out on stage… I’m not sure of the exact logistics…

The middle part of the song where you didn't see her. She said she was dancing on the side screens and changing sides, but no one gave the camera man the memo :D

The moment when they get missing at the main stage (your video 10:28) they were actually flying from one screen to another. The camera man was supposed to record the screens that they were on, but there were some problems with communication or something and they did record only the main stage. Thats why it looks so empty. Its actually exactly the thing you spoke about before, they did interact with the watchers this way. Mousey herself was sad, that it ended this way and they were not able to get recordings of the side screens.

Hi, just found your channel, and am enjoying the chill vibes. I don't know if you ever heard this one yet, but based on what I've seen on the channel I bet you would love Nightwish. I would advise starting with Ghost Love Score live at Wachen 2013 (probably the most reacted to song on TH-cam). Do be aware, you might get a massive influx of Nightwish fans overrunning your channel. Also a very talented female vocalist that does so many different amazing things with her voice and a very tight band making symphonic metal.

Some of the concerts by Hololive and some of the solo concerts by their individual talents are actually performed live, with the talent backstage wearing motion capture stuff, and able to see and hear the crowd on monitors, which lets them do some actual crowd interaction. In Mouse's case, it would be very difficult, not only due to her still slowly getting back into physical shape, but also because she can't leave her room, so she'd have to broadcast from wherever she lives, and would basically have to set up a motion capture studio in her house. The latter is possible, another vtuber named Dooby has one, but it'd probably take a lot of money and time and renovation, and even then there'd still be delay/latency since she's somewhere in the Eastern time zone and the streamer awards are held in LA

Time to peel back the curtain. This is gonna be a long read, I apologize in advance. This particular show is fully pre-recorded. Ironmouse has mobility issues and so she is unable to do any of the choreography herself. This was done in a mocap studio by professionals, which then that data was input into the model overlay. However there are other concerts out there. The Breaking Dimensions Hololive concert in New York City this year was fully live and not pre-recorded. They actually flew the talents to New York, set up a mocap studio in a nearby building, and live cameras to the audience so everyone could see and hear, and each performer did their set live, broadcast to the theater. Watch the Hakos Baelz performance of her song "Gekirin", or the Hololive Advent "Rebellion" to see what it is like when you have a 3D Vtuber concert with all the fixins.

Some vtubers have performed live to a crowd, but my guess is at least this the dancing isn't live, because Ironmouse until a year+ ago was bedridden for years, maybe over a decade. So while she has improved a lot with her singing and walking, she hasn't left her house yet, I think her mobility is still limited.

That was Ironmouse's friend and co-worker, Henya the Genius on those ballistics videos. Being from Japan she is just discovering the American fascination with guns. One of the videos is all about how guns match up with the adamantium skeleton and healing factor of the X-Men's Wolverine. You were 100% right n Froot, the rest were their VShojo friends/co-workers and their boss.

This visual performance was really well done, but want to see something crazy with this style, look up Hatsune Miku. Made animated performer concerts big. This though was crazy how well they did it, and I love it.

Have you seen the Ironmouse choir clips, 9 separate times she has sung the same song, but all played together, and they are so good, do yourself a favour and check them out.

I believe the main Mouse vocals are her live, the rest is prerecorded. Much like she does live on stream. She isn’t up to dancing yet, but is now able to walk slowly. Connor introduced, I’m not sure if he did the Bubi speaking part live or whether that was prerecorded and added to his song vocals - I’d presume the latter. It is all of Vshojo lineup in the background including Gunrun. The song has the Gremlins song under it, apparently it was Mouse’s request to build a song based on it.

The dance is performed by someone else since she isn't mobile enough for it, the vocals are not actually live, it's pre-recorded!

Loved seeing your reaction. Just FYI during the portion where the center stage was just background Mousey and BUBI were showing on other screens across the theater. A last minute change was made and the cameras didn't show those parts of the performance.

so if i recall right , the songs where prerecorded but in a raw way to basically be semi live , since mouse is not yet strong enough to move like her dancer did , im fairly certain vtubers who do full 3d concerts have a behind the scenes sound stage with mocap / sing live/ have interactions with the audiance live , but for mouses case they performed an illusion of semi live
