    Is it okay to do stretches like this before a game? I've heard stretching should only be done afterwards 🤔

    • @tobufitness
      @tobufitness 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is dynamic stretching which is good before a game. Not static stretching where you hold a stretch for a longer time

    Yup. This applies in all things. Say skateboarding. If you got kick flips down pat, and want to better at tre flips, but can't get the full rotation, practice 360 pop shove its to get the full rotation, then add the kick aspect into it. Or fighting. If you are great at defense, but have trouble in the wrists when punching, work on the punch, and strengthen the muscles. 🍻

    You used the term D Gap. What is that?

    • @dude7597
      @dude7597 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      D gap = space between the defensive player and the offensive player. Think of it like a head start for the defense towards the space which they anticipate the offense will cut into.

    15:49, I like this idea of differentiating on stage vs off stage cutters. And I wonder if how quickly and how often there is an on stage cutter continuation ready when the disc moves is a good gauge of the quality of the offense...

    Hey Justin! Just recently found your instagram after I friend directed me towards it. Just started checking out your TH-cam videos and podcasts you’ve released. I have a question on splitting up lifting days with practice days. Let’s say I have practice MWF in the evening or at night. Would lifting Tuesday and Thursday morning give enough time for recovery between these high intensity practices/lifts? Basically, have a high intensity practice Monday night, sleep, then Tuesday morning have a high intensity strength workout. You would then have most of Tuesday, Tuesday night’s sleep, and most of Wednesday until evening practice where you are not doing high intensity work.

    • @tobufitness
      @tobufitness ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea that woks too! What's "enough" is relative to each person. What's most important is what works best for you. From my experience, the more rest you can get between days the better, so this sounds like it could work!
