I picked up a 1998 vmax for a killer price. I'm slowly piecing it together with new or aftermarket parts. It runs flawlessly. 18k on the clock. I bought a used Shoei and replaced all the padding, too. Dirt cheap. Save money.

... a inicio Diciembre 2024 compré la versión Venom P2 en 171 dólares aprovechando promoción de un precio standar de 462,5 dólar, trae 4 entradas de ventilación en parte superior y 4 salidas lado posterior ( la nuca ) si bien se mejora ventilación si se nota mayor ruido, aún no he probado en autopista y se percibe esa sonoridad. También está equipado con mica empavonada integrada a su calota y trae su cortina de barbilla. El casco es liviano y cómodo, en color negro brillante combina muy bien con mi Inazuma S. No me gustó que cinta del doble D es más corta casi en 2 cms y se complica abrochar su botón, talvez en mi unidad se presenta ese detalle, son cosas que pueden pasar al comprar on line... ✌

For me it’s been a pair of German made Daytona Road Stars. Not cheap. But a serious lifetime boot. All day comfort. Every day serious comfort. Absolute shin, ankle and foot protection, waterproof and look great too. Yes these boots do it all. One pair of boots. I wear them year-round here in North Texas, even in the summer heat too. Aloha I bought my first HOG shinning shoes at the airport. That was in 1965. I am 74 years old, and still ride a Hog, but not a new one, I can not dish out the current $40K price tags! My current Ultra Classic is 7 years old (2018) with 45K miles. I went to trade for a new one, but was absolutely floored by the price of a new one, which was basically unchanged from the one I have. After tax they wanted $40K USD and were only going to give me $9K USD for mine. I will be doing the rebuild and keep it forever route from now on!

To an untrained eye, maybe they can't see it. With me actually owning a modified Harley, my first thought was, "shiiiiiiiitttt." The air cleaner and rear pipe give it away at a glance. I didn't even hear it or look further before I knew the engine was built.

I’m a retired Harley mechanic and I’m done with buying Harley’s, I bought a 2000 Honda Valkyrie interstate for $2000 and only had 5000 miles , I’ve been coast to coast every year with it, I still kept all my Harley’s but just need to watch my money being retired

Why can't you ride in winter? In Finland, many motorcyclists have a 12-month riding season. Not everyone even has studs on their tires. It's a matter of attitude and clothing. We even have a winter rally and people ride there in temperatures as low as -30 C. In Germany there is Elefanttreffen. The older you are, the more important it is to maintain your riding skills in winter. If you stay upright in winter, you'll stay healthy in summer too.

Everything after 13 is nothing but computers on wheels they’re horrible just computers being ran by another computer that runs another. I dodged a bullet a while back as I was putting cash on the desk. Everything today is primer colors for way too much money. Harley’s are supposed to be beautiful paint jobs and chrome. If chrome has to be black, you can still come up with some nice paint colors not the shit they have today. I have a 2013 anniversary that I was thinking of selling, you’re right I’ll just fix it up!

I have a 22 bagger love the body style and detail. Me I don’t like 23 or 24 or 25 looks or cluster. So I’d probably buy all new and re painted and so on.

recently picked up that jacket, due to the price tags I will get the pants later. Ive been loving the jacket so far! keeps me warm even while riding in 37F temps. i admit I'm slightly chilli but not by much. Keeps me comfortable to say the least. Excited for the pants..

I do have a 2008 Ultra that I did a 107 big bore kit Along with a lot of other goodies and I love it a lot no payments. I’m retired military just enjoying riding whenever possible.

I really enjoyed your video because I too have a 2008 ultra classic and instead of buying a new motorcycle. I basically did the same thing. I have a fuel Moto 107 big bore kit on my bike and I really enjoy the fact of having no payments and my bike is still running with my friends who have new bikes with seven and $800 payments. watching this video has made me reconsider changing a softail from standard.

I had the same experience , 4.5 months later bike shutdown on freeway 80 mph at midnight, got towed home charged battery, started bike voltage jumping from 8 volts to 12 , went to the Harley-Davidson dealer explain my situation , they do not have a voltage regulator , pick up a regular battery installed install the same voltage regulator all back to normal. In 4 1/2 months had 2 complete shutdowns on freeway one at midnight with no lights at all ,not a good feeling . Have a video on the insta360 showing it only gives you about one second between check engine light and half a second from battery light and complete shutdown . HD should of explained battery goes to safe mode and puts you in danger

Had adventure bikes for 20 years, could go through any weather. Just traded my last one for a K1600. Now I'm scared of dirt roads.

1150 was built rock solid - a true German engineering. Pls don't sell that bike! If Ian McGregor went with Yamaha, BMW Motorrad wouldn't exist today. Having said that, BMW needs to improve its quality - it's been going downhill with cheap parts.
