Just so you know, it's a bad idea to use copper wire to clean out your jets & small orifaces in your carburator. It breaks off too easy.
You can use oxy-accetalyne torch cleaners or pull out a steal wire out of a wire brush & work it straight & roll it on a grinding wheel to thin it out.
Roll the end over with a needle nose to make a handle. Make sure your manifold O-ring seals aren't leaking. It's common for them to leak.
FXR is a nice bike. I got one too. Best bike I ever owned. An S&S super E carburator works great on Harleys. Nice motorcycle.
