yes sir, referees have made some big mistakes, in major games and no doubt, that will stop anytime soon, even with TMO etc.....being a qualified and practicing ref myself, without that kind of pressure, there is always a chance of a wrong call!.....thanks for watching Clutch, do subscribe✊

@@ClutchRugbyXV 1995, 2011 and 2023 are not wrong calls. Those were repeated one-way obvious mistakes. That got confessed by referees afterwards (for 1995 & 2011 at least).

Stolen in 1995 semi for political reasons, stolen in 2011 final because a souther anglo-speaking ref decided that the home team hasn't the right to loose to the Frogs, stolen in the 2023 quarter against Boks (but English and the finalist have also been stolen to favour Boks)..

The alone NH to have won 2 in a round match in NZ in 1994 (and 3 if you coun the following France-NZ few month later)... Also french players do twice more match a year than their southern counterpart. Top 14 is by far a more competitive and more entertaining champsionship than the one of the south. The relegation system has surely alot in that fact.

@@ClutchRugbyXV I think there is room for both long term. I think the 2nd NRL team in NZ and if the All Blacks can maintain dominance in World Rugby will ultimately influence the progress Rugby League makes in NZ.

@@samuelcmercer LOL, I purposely didn't mention the second NZ NRL team, what' s going on that btw? I was in Auckland back in the day, so I cant imagine what's it like being a league town today. hopefully that doesn't happen to Sydney one of these days.🙃

@@ClutchRugbyXV NRL has a plan to go to 20 teams. Papua New Guinea has been confirmed for 2028. Perth is still in negotiation currently. The 20th team is most likely to be in NZ. Christchurch has a couple of rival consortiums bidding and I think Wellington has one as well. Christchurch seems more likely with the new stadium and being on the South Island. However Rugby League has never been as strong in Christchurch so it will be interesting to see what unfolds. The TV money the NRL gets is absolutely massive which is set to be greatly upgraded when they can provide an extra game or 2 a week with further expansion. The Super Rugby franchises cannot compete financially with the money the NRL now has. Hence NRL players who switch to Union either go to Japan or France.
