I live in Australia and they even do this on some top 40 stations over hear where the artist changed a lyric to say the name of the radio station, the song Head and Heart" by Joel Corry the lyric "Oh my God oh my god this feelings just begun" was changed to "Oh My god, oh my god KIIS FM is number 1"

For me it was definitely Cheap Thrills. We have an FM radio station in Houston called 104.1 - KRBE, and every time the song came on Sia would sing “Come on, Come on, turn KRBE on” and I always thought it was really cool that there was a custom lyric in the song that they could change by region.

A lot of people don't realize that this is how the music industry works. Artists are always working together in the background and it's rare that we get to hear about it. Sometimes artists from different genres will even write for each other. It happened a lot between R&B and Country artists back in the 90s

I loved the Enigma residency. My sole issue with it is the scripting wasn't that great; effective but not great.

Enigma felt so disjointed and underwhelming. It absolutely wasn't Vegas or Gaga worthy. I mean she was amazing don't get me wrong (we had a great time!) but after that I saw Katy's and that production was EXPENSIVE and had a clear story and it was structured.

Those photos are AMAZING, the concept was just so good, visually exciting, enigmatic also dark. I wish we had that.

It feels like gaga’s been planning an edgy return 4EVER by now. Joanne tour was kinda edgy but didn’t commit 2 it. Enigma was edgy but didn’t fall through. It’s like gaga’s been presenting as sweeter & conventionally appropriate 4 a while. But now is the time !! It has 2 !! She’s been holding out the energy 4 almost a decade so she can pour all the edge in this era 🫢

The Ursula reference makes sense because she went through a huge Disney Princess phase for a while, and was especially into Little Mermaid.

When she came out in the bikini, it was very emotional for me. To me she was beaming from cheek to cheek and radiating happiness. It showed she was healed from her injury and ready to perform. Ready for her new era. I think how long she was injured and unable to properly walk is something we simply must take into account here. She was reborn. It’s my second favourite performance of hers. Fav is 2009 Paparazzi of COURSE.

I saw both shows and honestly hated The Enigma show. I thought it was just very corny. But The Jazz and Piano one was amazing. Her talent really shines when she leaves all the bs gimmicks behind.

Enigma was supposed to be reimagined to fit Chromatica aesthetic in 2020 but after Covid happened they just ended up cancelling the show and focus on Jazz and Piano instead.

The double S probably means it’s pronounced “essence”.

I loved this show. Piano and jazz one was amazing too. I went to both separately in 2019. What a year. Always likes how the song Enigma references it and also says “we could be jokers” lol. Edit: Don’t forget she was playing a lot of Bayonetta at this time and was heavily inspired by it. She also was inspired by Hatsune Miku lol.
