I’m still so sad she discarded this album! “Talk to Me” and the original Curiosity are some of my favorite songs by her💔 she had the perfect chance to finally release the full album on the supposed 10th anniversary… (Curiosity could’ve literally been Kiss Side B especially with how some outtakes that weren’t even in the full album tracklist were reworked for Kiss)
@@lu-th2nq the ep did have great songs, its too bad she didnt just release it on the 10 year anniversary of kiss, like you said its basically like a kiss side b since thats is technically how it started, hopefully one day she dose decided to release it 🙏
this album is my roman empire. how one discarded album of +10 years ago still evokes inspiration and is still subject of many of her songs today??????? i wanna hear it so bad
The fact that some songs created for this album would later appear on Emotion is definition of mind-blowing, hard-working and love for what you doing. I really love messing around in artists' unreleased material and Carly is the most interest one, because she writes 100-300 songs only for one project, how is that even possible, but it's real! Carly is the only artist along with Lana who put songs created for one album on another but in reworked version. I wanna hear that album, there might be some gems in it. Carly along with Taylor, Lana, Gaga and Marina are my inspirations as a songwriter, their works are amazing and incredible)) I really want to hear Max Martin's version of ''I Didn't Just Come Here To Dance", Favourite Colour's original version, full early version of Store, Falling For You - they all were created in 2011 for Curiosity/Kiss, but appear on Emotion, how can we live with that fact, Carly is a productive queen!
@@ЮрийМилашов-п4у fr i never would have thought some songs from emotion were created during the album before it she dose a great job in making sure it fits the era and from going through 100 to 300 songs must be tough, makes me glad she decided to do a side b release for her albums later on bc we would be missing out on all the good music she continues to create, i do hope one day she dose decide to release the full curiosity album, it really is cool getting to live in the same time as taylor, gaga, marina, carly and lana bc they are such extraordinary artists that make music so much fun
Now that you bring you “Dear Julian” I think that song was just reworked/reimagined to Dedicated’s Julien. From the snippet and live version it sounds like a similar song topic
@@paintingdreams290 oh definitely it’s a completely different song! It’s just the subject matter, tied in with “Julien” being the person she’s talking to/about it makes me wonder if it was a reworked idea. Especially now that she’s evolved as an artist and songwriter
@@Ines-yf5kj fr she has evolved so much since her kiss era and made so much great music, it dose surprise me that ppl be thinking she only had "call me maybe" when "good time" was also a hit
No what I think happened was they ended up giving her more of a budget & better producers / more time to work on the album, when call me maybe went viral. I think the label knew the original sessions probably wouldn’t have done well for the US so they ended up giving more budget & that’s why the whole kiss album seems different from call me maybe
Kiss is so fun. Turn Me Up and Guitar String should have been singles, they would have dominated charts. Original Curiosity is way better than the remade hyperpop in Kiss though.
KISS is one of my favorite albums by Carly, I love 2010 pop, it brings soo much memories. Sweetie, Turn Me Up, This Kiss, Drive, Hurts So Good are my favorite album tracks. Tiny Little Bows is also a good song and its first version is kinda cute and more into the story than the released one, but still they're both great))
@@ЮрийМилашов-п4у both versions of tiny little bows are cute, its like getting two different perspectives, kiss embodies both early 2010s nostalgia and fun pop music nicely ✨
i hope the 5 unreleased songs eventually leak with studio versions😭😭been my dream rare for two years

one of my faves off the album! it's such a sweet song
from what we've heard tho, it seems like Julien is a completely separate song however, it is possible she was inspired by the scrapped song

The og Curiosity is so much better in my opinion, the remix sounds like a song that would play on a child’s birthday (I love both though!)
