I think that Gaga figured out that the earlier RedOne stuff wouldn't fit the Joanne theme anymore. Joanne might not be the pop, electronic dance album we expected, buuut it is a really sweet humble moment in her catalogue, and it really showed a different side of her, and tied in very well with ASIB era, and kind of rebranded her as a more serious artist with a musical range.
Absolutely! Actually, I think that Perfect Illusion, John Wayne, Diamond Heart & Dancin' In Circles could've been considered for original LG5 because they have that dark not country sound, but we never know how it really was but the fact that they're stand out from the rest of the album is definitely a fact.

I don't agree with this at all. She already had plenty of musical range, and her voice from an overall performance standpoint PEAKED* during ARTPOP. I think at the end, Joanne was the best choice for Gaga's career, as it was completely out of her comfort zone, and so different from her previous material...and even if people say that it "flopped" or that "it is her worst", I think it was a necessary record to move on into new phases of her artistry and career. Because, as much as I love pop, I understand that a star like Gaga needs to evolve and explore different sounds, concepts, ideas, genres and elements, just like she did in Joanne with the incorporation of a more folk vibe, 60s pop and rock and country. I think at the end she made the right decision, because otherwise her career wouldn't have moved onto the AISB soundtrack and Gucci and Joker and Jazz/Cabaret, and she would've stayed stagnant in plastic pop sounds, just like her fellow contemporary whose name starts with a K and ends in a y.

Based on what Gaga said in the interview for Apple Music for Chromatica and the album's documentary "Gaga Five Foot Two", we can see that her intention for rework the album was to do something that feels real and personal. She wanted heal the wounds of her family and also show a real side of herself, not as the Pop Star we met in her earlier years.

honestly, i most of the times use Gagapedia to check the information about Gaga's content. But most of the times it doesn't have the content like other artist wikia's/fandom has, like adding information of the upcoming albums and all of that. Yes, they add content of the unreleased songs and that, but barely have other type of scrapped content made.

I really do blame Mark Ronson because he watered down Gaga so much and because of him the entire LG5 was scrapped. I do like Joanne the album but not compared to ARTPOP, The Fame Monster, The Fame, Born This Way or Chromatica. I'm glad that Gaga really does become the Gaga of those eras again!
I feel like there is somethung about Gaga, and i know she knows she has this, where i think she goes to a self sabotaging place (and i can absolutely relate to that with personal projects i have). She self sabotages sometimes, nd it turns out like this... everyone around her gets confused, she makes sudden changes and decisions, things are scrapped and everything goes to sh*t. @@Playlist_Pop hey playlist_pop, i know the frankenstein snippet you showed in the vid is fan made and its the one thats been circulating for years now, but from my research theres another snippet of the song which sounds completely different and id only been able to find 2-3 vids that had this snippet, it sounds very much like a redone track with his iconic sound effects in the background too, from further research i found that this song played in the back of an interview she did with IheartRadio around the joanne era, where she was meeting a fan of hers, it can be heard quite clearly in some parts while rlly subtle in the others, apparently perfect illusion was supposed to be played but the song that DID play sounded very very different, this interview is still up on youtube and u can just search up, ''gaga interview iheartradio gaga meets fan'' just those keywords would work. im not sure if you've covered this already but just wanted to leave this comment here, might be an interesting topic for a future vid! Lady Gaga was great when she first emerged on the scene. She was new, fresh and exciting. The Fame / FameMonster, Born This Way & ArtPop were Gaga at her crazy best and most creative. (Even though ArtPop kinda missed the mark at certain points in the album). Everything after ArtPop was garbage. Joanne was boring garbage. The Tony Bennett stuff was a pop career killer, which is exactly what happened, it killed her music career. She tried coming back to original crazy and creative Gaga with Chromatica but the sound of that entire album was dated and the production was yawn-inducing. The only hit on that album was Rain On Me, and the only reason that was a big hit, was because it featured Ariana Grande, who was super hot at that time. Grande was the one to propel that song to #1, not Gaga. Don’t believe me? Well, Gaga sang Stupid Love all herself, and the video was panned, and the song was classified as her one of her worst singles of her career, and certainly the worst choice for a lead off single. It was considered a flop in terms of Gaga’s past lead singles from her pop dance albums. I purchased Chromatica on the day of release and was excited because it was said to be a return to her pop/dance form. Yes it was an all dance album, but like I said, the production was incredibly dated and did NOT make me go gaga for Gaga. I think I listened to the full album twice and that was it. It wasn’t replayable at all. Now, since a week after I bought the CD years ago, it collects dust. I guess I should dust more. Her ultra famous pop star era ended a LOOOOONG time ago. Now she’s just incredibly boring and not relevant at all anymore. From the things I’ve heard about her new upcoming studio album, I don’t have much hope for it, let’s just say that shall we.

Based on what Gaga said in the interview for Apple Music for Chromatica and the album's documentary "Gaga Five Foot Two", we can see that her intention for rework the album was to do something that feels real and personal. She wanted heal the wounds of her family and also show a real side of herself, not as the Pop Star we met in her earlier years.
@@Joamori1054 well said, at the time this direction made sense for her bc this is what she was feeling, like you pointed out on how she describe this era it helped heal her and her heal famliy and even if she went into that pop direction there was no guarantee the public wouldve received it well, seeing the response artpop got not to mention some wouldve probably said she wasn't evolving, so a change was needed and with her going into acting this helped with that transition into actress, sure some fans may have not liked this era at frist but they came around later and she not only got more new fans from acting but become a successful actress, showing this new side of her as she was going into acting got the public to fall in love with her again

honestly, i most of the times use Gagapedia to check the information about Gaga's content. But most of the times it doesn't have the content like other artist wikia's/fandom has, like adding information of the upcoming albums and all of that. Yes, they add content of the unreleased songs and that, but barely have other type of scrapped content made.

@@emrebakann No, the original LG5 came to life AFTER Gaga did AHS: Hotel, because she got inspired by her character The Countess and the show itself and THEN created the original LG5 concept. I really do blame Mark Ronson because he watered down Gaga so much and because of him the entire LG5 was scrapped. I do like Joanne the album but not compared to ARTPOP, The Fame Monster, The Fame, Born This Way or Chromatica. I'm glad that Gaga really does become the Gaga of those eras again!

I feel like there is somethung about Gaga, and i know she knows she has this, where i think she goes to a self sabotaging place (and i can absolutely relate to that with personal projects i have). She self sabotages sometimes, nd it turns out like this... everyone around her gets confused, she makes sudden changes and decisions, things are scrapped and everything goes to sh*t. It must be heartbreaking to experience feeling like you produced a HIT and then have her comoletely disregard your song because she suddenly changed everything. I hope for LG7 she has clarity and everything flows easy for her and everyone around, so she can get that success she deserves and hava a really consistent product, like The Fame and The Fame Monster. It must be hard to be her sometimes.

Although i would love a special release of ‘Frankensteined’ or the E.P for the 10th anniversary of ‘Joanne’, I’ve learned not to get too excited since it’s not always possible. @@Playlist_Pop hey playlist_pop, i know the frankenstein snippet you showed in the vid is fan made and its the one thats been circulating for years now, but from my research theres another snippet of the song which sounds completely different and id only been able to find 2-3 vids that had this snippet, it sounds very much like a redone track with his iconic sound effects in the background too, from further research i found that this song played in the back of an interview she did with IheartRadio around the joanne era, where she was meeting a fan of hers, it can be heard quite clearly in some parts while rlly subtle in the others, apparently perfect illusion was supposed to be played but the song that DID play sounded very very different, this interview is still up on youtube and u can just search up, ''gaga interview iheartradio gaga meets fan'' just those keywords would work. im not sure if you've covered this already but just wanted to leave this comment here, might be an interesting topic for a future vid! (also this might very well just be me but to me it sounded like it could fit with the LG7 snippet played in disease mv where the black fit gaga chases the gaga in the white dress with her car)

Joanne was a good album it was setting a tone down era for her, it was as personal as all her other work but lyrically it is her best, art pop for me is her worst. But I do keep hoping after she released the cure she would put an album out with that sort of sound. It worked and is an amazing track

There is quite literally no evidence or spoken of concepts for what the album might have been. So idk what any of you are discussing or what this video could possibly present. This is nearly all pure fictional delusion lol
Lady Gaga was great when she first emerged on the scene. She was new, fresh and exciting. The Fame / FameMonster, Born This Way & ArtPop were Gaga at her crazy best and most creative. (Even though ArtPop kinda missed the mark at certain points in the album). Everything after ArtPop was garbage. Joanne was boring garbage. The Tony Bennett stuff was a pop career killer, which is exactly what happened, it killed her music career. She tried coming back to original crazy and creative Gaga with Chromatica but the sound of that entire album was dated and the production was yawn-inducing. The only hit on that album was Rain On Me, and the only reason that was a big hit, was because it featured Ariana Grande, who was super hot at that time. Grande was the one to propel that song to #1, not Gaga. Don’t believe me? Well, Gaga sang Stupid Love all herself, and the video was panned, and the song was classified as her one of her worst singles of her career, and certainly the worst choice for a lead off single. It was considered a flop in terms of Gaga’s past lead singles from her pop dance albums. I purchased Chromatica on the day of release and was excited because it was said to be a return to her pop/dance form. Yes it was an all dance album, but like I said, the production was incredibly dated and did NOT make me go gaga for Gaga. I think I listened to the full album twice and that was it. It wasn’t replayable at all. Now, since a week after I bought the CD years ago, it collects dust. I guess I should dust more. Her ultra famous pop star era ended a LOOOOONG time ago. Now she’s just incredibly boring and not relevant at all anymore. From the things I’ve heard about her new upcoming studio album, I don’t have much hope for it, let’s just say that shall we.
