I am not taking any credit for this idea it was all down to Paul sq5 owner. he said can you make some flanges so if the speakers fail again it would be able to just unbolt install new and bolt back together again, we said yes and it was a great success Paul even sourced the 2 ohm speakers which sound awesome!

I have been looking for an alternative speaker to the now out of stock hard to find Pioneer TS-MR1640 speakers and these Kicker PSC65 2ohm are just the thing, the sound is awesome! and an unusual find was the oem speaker was still OK and I measured at 2 ohms the first time that I have done this all usually open circuit I must thank Lyall for the research finding the speakers.
