I have zero hope the story will be any good, none of the previous games have a great story. The writing is over all bad, nothing really makes sense and everything is written in to serve the game so you have something to do even if it does not make sense. All the hype they have tried to put out for this game yet no one is playing early access for people to see. As you said the cities will feel hollow and empty and I have no doubt about that. Rockstar is the only company that makes a great open world game because they put in a decade developing. This game will be forgotten in a years time.

This looks like a PS3 game. Really, with a little lower resolution and more aliasing could be a PS2 game like Tomb Raider Anniversary. The particle physics, the lack of facial animations, the simple shadows and the shallow textures.

I think you're right about it looking like a pre-alpha build. What I am confused about is that the gameplay footage from Ubisoft Forward looked 100x more polished than this! Why go backwards? Really makes no sense!

Thank you for your review/feedback of Starfield Compendium. At the moment, the game engine does not let mods save/load data. As such, any progress you made would be reset each time you start your game. My end goal is to be able to track our exploration progress, but until Bethesda gives us at least this feature, I cannot do more on that side. Also, I would love be able to open the star map on the system with just a click. But once again, the game engine does not provide that functionality. I made request for those features (and more) and BGS said they are willing to look into it. So I cross my fingers, and will use your feedback to improve the UI/UX.

Nobody is asking for a RMAH. Give us a regular AH so trading isn't aids and the demand for RMT will drop. Some people will always RMT, that's fine. If regular joe doesn't have to jump through so many hoops they'll more than likely earn items the traditional way. RMT desirability scales proportional to the difficulty of item acquisition.

I gave here new apparalel (like my others) and then equipped her with that and it worked. However, it appears to have too many other issues. Also, her mouth does not move when talking but I think that is the problem with creations in general.

I bought D3 for this reason. I vastly overestimated my farming abilities lolz. I also think Blizz underestimated farming abilities. You say capitalism but bots aren't capitalists. I still like the idea, but the problem was, and is, hacking and bot players. Until it's secure I wouldn't touch it again as a publisher. Not to mention bugs, rollbacks, patches etc. I just think it's a bad bag of worms to deal with considering people take money even more seriously than having their character screwed a bit.

(played d3 since launch)- big drama and downfall of AH. at the start for example it was unbelievably hard to find a good item and to sell it for 250 euro,the next phase was that the drop rates were buffed so evryone could find a good item so the prices/and a possible profit for a player dropped,and then asian regional players/or bots could farm evrything and trade sell at europe for example so all best in slot items were available for 1 euro because of the quantities.... if d4 was about to have an AH ever, it should be pure like the launch of d3, hard found items to cost maximum at 100 euro for examples or less ,droprates that keep the economy balanced, and the most important every region to be seperate : american AH european AH asian AH. is it so difficult for a company like blizzard to prevent bot accounts? or to prevent an asian player (or thousands) of buying european keys?

More devs isnt always a good thing. Since it can lead to more misunderstandings and errors in the creative process.

Fact is, Bethesda’s engine is the problem. And no, that overhyped pile of dogshit Unreal Engine is not the solution. Rockstar uses their R.A.G.E. engine which only has gotten better and better with time. That near flawless engine combined with the development team of 2000-3000, AND a massive multi-BILLION dollar budget means that GTA 6 will without a doubt release as squeaky clean as it possibly can. Bethesda Game Studios could never even dream of being capable of that. Not only is the engine the problem, it’s also Todd Howard. The dude is full of himself and holds back the company so he can make the game that HE wants. Not what the fans want or what makes sense for the player to have a flawless experience. No amount of cope will ever make Starfield any less garbage than the state it’s in. Only hope for them is to keep on updating and fixing the game into the next generation of consoles and pray that the technology runs the game better than the Series X.

I've been looking for the Special forces background and traits for at least three weeks since I came across this video and subscribed, I as very tired and shut down the computer wrong it was a tough night , my mom was up late . Kept looking under Starfield Special Forces background and your post never came up. If I can get this I will restart the game. You have the makings of becoming a 'trusted guide' for retirees like me who do not have the time or money to go on a cruise ship with trusted guides to help us make the most of our free time., and money. Cruise ships are popular because, good guide help people squeeze the most fun and excitement out of going some where new, and happy customers share good guides with people whose respect and trust they would like to have grow. You have and the makings of being a good and trusted guide, your content deserves many more shares and followers, just remember the viewers who need you most may be retirees and returning gamers, not hots shot who already know it all.

Retiree, returning to gaming trying to stay awake while trying to do night watch with 'declining ' mother. Probably more than a few of us with spouses, and or ,other family nearing 'end of life. Do you know of other players who don't need bosses and other frustrations. I suspect there is a growing number of us who can use such mods as we age towards the end of life.

Microsoft and Bethesda dont seem to understand public relations and honestly for Bethesda its been known lip service for a while now.

I've said for years since FO4 that Bethesda is spreading themselves too thin. They want hands in every pie but can't understand why their games are failing. Morrowind was actually the game that saved their company, not Oblivion. With Morrowind, they essentially did nothing but take massive risks with everything. Each developer was allowed to do whatever they wanted, as long as it fit within the lore, art-style and plot of the game. It was massively successful for it's time and it propelled them into the mainstream where Oblivion had a big enough fanbase for them to begin to sell to a wider audience which brought in more customers. By the time Skyrim came around, it was the same. They also kept deciding to make each sequential entry starting with Morrowind, more "accessible" AKA simplified over the previous release. Daggerfall was insanely detailed but was also hard to get into, mechanics-wise. Morrowind was the first game that made Bethesda truly successful but Oblivion was their breakout success with the huge fanbase that was patiently waiting for Elder Scrolls IV. There was only 4 years between Morrowind and Oblivion. There was 5 years between Oblivion and Skyrim and now it's been 13 years between Skyrim and Elder Scrolls VI. Starfield is an accumulation of Bethesda's worse tendencies without their best strengths. Take every Elder Scrolls game and Fallout 3/New Vegas. Their games shine when they hand craft each area and tie each location, NPC, etc to the world and other parts of the world in some way. With Starfield they decided to basically throw together a bunch of small handcrafted areas with almost nothing linking each area to the rest of the game and the most generic NPCs, dialogue and stories. They relied too much on procedural generation which made the game feel completely soulless - not to mention that they take no risks and offend no sensibilities with any of the story, lore or dialogue in Starfield. They've lost the most important aspect of making RPGs, which is attention to detail and telling a story that feels relatable. Being able to join every faction and be the leader of each faction makes no sense considering one faction is basically the space police and another is basically space pirates. It would make more sense roleplay-wise to lock characters out of factions that are opposed. I feel like Starfield would have been more successful if they had fleshed out 1-3 planets with an insane detail level that makes each world fleshed out and unique and link the content together with story, NPCs, factions, etc. Instead they chose to make hundreds of barren planets with nothing to do. The lack of ACTUAL space travel also makes the game feel like a loadscreen simulator. I feel like they truly bait-and-switched Starfield by implying that you'd be able to fly between planets like No Man's Sky/Star Citizen. The fact that only 400 people worked on Starfield is part of the problem. I feel like they built a great atmosphere and had cool technology to showcase with the game, but everything about the game just left you feeling like "This will get better/more detailed" and then it never does. You constantly find yourself thinking "Something interesting is going to happen, just have to give it more time." and then nothing interesting ever happens. It was and is just a massive waste of your time. It's one of the worst Bethesda experiences ever devised, second only to Redguard. The difference is, Redguard didn't waste 10 years of development of one of their main franchises when it failed, whereas Starfield absolutely wasted so much time that could have been better spent on other games.

NGL, RDR2 was a great game and replayed it four times, and now I'm done with it. I'm still actively playing a heavily modded Skyrim and FO4. I'm certain I will continue to play Starfield years from now as mods are created. Modding Bethesda games allows for endless replayability. Just on this standpoint alone, I would extremely disagree with your assertion that they failed the gaming community. Without Bethesda, there wouldn't be a monumental modding community like Skyrim. At the end of the day, game developers don't owe anyone jack s**t. You have the choice to buy their games or pass.
