    I have this on a 2003 Ford Taurus too. Appears to be Part #BL3Z13776A. Took just the lens off to replace the bulb, but also, couldn't figure out how to get it back on. In the end, got in the backseat, turned the dome light on (at night) and made sure the studs in the back were lined up. It just snapped right back in. I tried half a dozen times from the front seat before that with no joy. Give me screws any day. Feels like Ford decided to save a few micro-pennies per unit and eliminate screws.

    So i get a pilot, but the thermocouple seams to not want to let the heater switch to "OK" mode to allow the gas to light the ceramic plates. Is there a part# for just the thermocouple? as that entire thing for my model is $45-50!! Heater cost me under $100 on sale! Or maybe there is a wayt o bipass it? I called and the lady on Support said to try and use a lighter to light it. Which doesnt work as the thermocouple doesnt let gas flow unless it reaches a specific temp...I forget why that is, but likely some safety feature?

    • @RippSnortin
      @RippSnortin 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Did you change the parts or are you trying to make the old parts work. I did that for a while and it worked. Just get a qtip and some rubbing alcohol and clean down in the hole where the gas comes from. On Amazon the thermocouple and pilot come as a set for 25 bucks.

    • @philindeblanc
      @philindeblanc 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For my model its $45, MH18B model. WHat I did was take out the thermocouple and remove the spring, so now I dont need a thermocouple, so now I dont have a pilot safety, as doing that kills the feature. But now works very nicely.@@RippSnortin

    That's sick. This spring I'm going to start a small farm here. Huge garden and chickens. The two go well together. Stocking up on canned goods, rice and beans. What are they talking about with this 6 percent inflation crap? I'm paying quadruple for a lot of things that you need to just live. I don't follow what's trending on You Boob so I haven't seen any of these grocery load out vids.

    • @RippSnortin
      @RippSnortin 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Stuff isn't cheap, but cooking from scratch helps a lot. I have tons of rice and beans stored up. I use the almond milk bottles to store them. If you keep tapping them on the counter top to get the stuff to settle they hold 7 or 8 pounds of pintos. The problem with chickens and a garden is you are pretty much always going to need to be there. You probably have a friend who can watch things while you're gone.

    • @mobiltec
      @mobiltec 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      First I will build the infrastructure. Then if I see things beginning to collapse I will start the chickens off. I can buy chicks around ere for next to nothing. I have a friend I can just get them from for free. If the crap hits the fan we will all be staying home anyhow. I live in a farming community. I think that may help. I'm never gone for more than a week at a time anyhow and the garden will water itself.@@RippSnortin

    These things are poorly made. They're great for what they are. But lack the power they need. It's over lack of suction. The magazine bb hole doesn't stick perfectly to the shooting hole. Plus the co² holes are not air tight. And they let out some air. And that takes away from the FPS. Just greasing up the co² holes will increase the FPS. Both the ones in the mag, and the one in the rifle. It's common sense.
