Great video ! However I'm surprised Amber/steel/flute isn't here as it is still top 4 deck I guess and can destroy a classic red/amethis deck ^^ The deck even has an evolution with Gaston/robin hood etc
what do you think of amethyst/saphire. ik its not the best color combination but I think it has a pretty good amount of potential as a deck not nessecarily the most groundbreaking but it looks somewhat decent

Having played both control decks I wouldn’t say that ruby/sapphire pawpsicles lacks a game plan, it’s the same as the amethyst control one; draw a ton of cards, control with red removal (or just force a nuke with be prepared and control drops from there). That being said, the amethyst version just really outvalues it via bouncing and repeating etb effects. I personally like pawpsicles more as I think it’s more “fun” to play, but yeah if I want to win I suck it up and just run amethyst instead of sapphire. If bounce wasn’t a big thing for amethyst this set, pawpsicles would 100% be better than it I think because you can ramp into your removal much faster.
@@phonetiic I ended up splitting top 4 with the mufasa deck tonight in a $1k tournament. I went into top 8 as top seed with it though! If I wasn’t so worn out from all the games I think I could’ve won the whole thing.
I hear you loud and clear! (No pun intended) my microphone is currently broken so I have a new one on the way! If I turn the audio up on my current mic there is a very unpleasant crackling which isn’t enjoyable to listen to, audio will be fixed for next week!
