So... I ended up making two modest typhlosions with 31 sp atk and 29 speed, spent a little over 100k in both. I hope 29 speed is enough 😭

​@@drons_e6425if 29 speed doesn't work sell Your Typhlosion and make 31 spa and 31 Speed Will probably cost more then 300k

@@drons_e6425 29 is probably fine it is really unlikely that 2 speed stat will matter anywhere

@DenziXY i still use it after the strings nerf. I don't find the exp text too bad but it's totally up to personal preference. You will definitely be hitting less gyms no matter what rerun you use these days unfortunately

@Sam-jp2dd i have heard that they improved the ai at Xmas so I'm not sure 100%. I did one run and it went pretty smoothly but I had to adapt a few times. It might just be less efficient than before and require knowing how to adapt to the situations

@@elusivegaming806 my current rerun strats still work but they will be slower. All of them will be slowed down due to the strings change

No it was a level 100 only raid, unfortunately it was just during the Christmas event though so it's gone now. You can get a regular suicune but we aren't sure if alpha suicune will come back

@Raucey good point I never thought of that! I mostly play mobile so flipping is usually annoying to do anyways

I've noticed less coins recently actually too which is weird. Maybe it's a bug because the info i posted was directly from kyu, the lead game developer. 2 coins is below average rng for sure though

Stats are weird haha I just pulled it from the forum info guide but good to know! I didn't even have time to shunt this event unfortunately there was so much to do!

​@@JinxedBoonThey're definitely exaggerating, as I got 3 amulet coins in an hour (which is still low), but the item rate on mons does feel noticeably nerfed. I don't know if the new magnet charm is bugged and is accidentally nerfing rates instead of buffing it, or if they lowered the floor of item rates in an effort to balance the new magnet charm, but anecdotally, something feels up. It's also interesting to note, that the price on almost all thief items has gone up like amulet coin and flame orb. I'd think that an item buff would increase supply and lower the price, but the opposite is occurring, almost like there's suddenly less of these items in the market, thus increasing scarcity and raising the cost. Though, it's also possible that the xmas event affected the prices and they just haven't bounced back yet. It's unclear, but a lot of people are talking about the items feeling nerfed now, and I'm unclear on why. Something feels different and it's very possible that something unintended is happening.

@extraneoustitled5103 i definitely agree, i tried something coin farming last night and it felt much lower than before. I think it's bugged because kyus notes state they should be increased so hopefully its addressed at LNY but its defintely not 1 coin every few hours bad 😂

@Plopi definitely hope they keep the difficulty up! I do find the type by type attack ones a little annoying though but maybe it'll just take some more practice with!

@gabrielt.1512 if you finish the region and have a party of level 100 mons, it should give you the level 80 teams

@Quuenntin the strings were nerfed at Halloween, slowing down the game a lot. Currently no 3rd party strings actually speed anything up, they just remove the text. The devs are working towards making the game faster but currently it's definitely slower than it was. Also I do have a new rerun but this one is a little easier to run

which one is easyier ? the new run or this one ?

@Quuenntin this one is easier whereas the newer one is more profitable but has a bit more to remember and some more rng elements

@Quuenntin you can do this one and then check out the other one to see if it suits you better! I prefer the other one because it has passive leveling involved and I hate leveling. Also if you have an exp reamplifier, the other one is much more efficient

@MichaelCoombes776 they unfortunately nerfed strings in the Halloween update so gym reruns are definitely slower now. I'm getting around 25 gyms down now. It might just take a bit more practice to get up to around that point! Also yeah I totally just forgot to hit petalburg on this recording lol that was my bad 😅

@JinxedBoon i saw this video quite late, I didn't realise it was before the strings nerf. 25 doesn't seem too bad by comparison - from other videos it looks like the strings nerf puts a hard cap on gyms.

@Sant0rin-ui8tu in the majority of cases you will be totally fine! You can breed an archeops and see if your typh and blastoise get attacked but it should be unlikely if you go low defs! I wouldn't worry too much about HP either

It's definitely slower than before but not too bad. It's still one of the best money making methods in the game! But yeah I'm getting like 24-27 gyms on average now.

@@JinxedBoon Ah alright thanks for the response, do you have any other consistent/reliable money making methods when gym reruns are on cooldown? I need to prep a heatran team fast

Hp does not get copied on to ditto which is why we can use it for survivability. What is your attack ev/iv, defense ev/iv, and item you are using in hoenn?
