    I like that you mentioned there's more to Manitoba than just Winnipeg. I live in south eastern Manitoba and it's actually pretty great. A 6th point might have been that we have like 98% renewable energy here.

    I dont mean anything but talking about cold doesn't matter because of many reasons
    1- everywhere in canada is cold specially in the winter, Quebec, ontario or any city in canada.
    2- there is nothing to do about it, only what we got is get warmed up as good as it is possible
    By the way i'm living in Québec actually and i enjoyed my trip once i was in winnipeg, what makes me wanna return there is the quality and style of life plus everyone can get a nice house with 25k which it is impossible to get one with that price in quebec or BC or ontario of course.

    I grew up in Minnedosa, a beautiful town in a valley in Southwestern MB. There's the lake & river there's swimming. boating and fishing, of course but all I ever seem to catch s clams! Others catch actual fish! One of the things I do there is go behind the falls and let them push me sliding into where the water pools. In the summer there's the rodeo, and the Classic Rock festival, right by the beach. National and even international rock bands show up and Great for camping, with lots of American tourists, who know about this gem & it's got all the amenities.
    It's a great place for exploring the foothills and it's a very clean town with some excellent historical places to visit. The summers are warm & dry. Most of the time there isn't much for mosquitoes, really not a bother. In the winters you can go skiing or snow shoe where your off the beaten path. There is also a new arena with hockey and public skating. Some say there's Sasquatch (Big Foot) around those parts, but I've never seen that! There are some great restaurants there and you can order Bison Burgers to go with your deep fried perogies or fries. There is an area near the beach/camp ground with actual Bison, last time I was there I got some photos right up close, though they say it's not good idea to do that! You just don't scare them!
    I've been all over the plane & there's nothing like it - in fact I would love to live there in Minnedosa again...

      Boring is better than the drug riddled neighbourhoods, crime and mass immigration leading to the ever expanding ethnic enclaves and subsequent demographic displacement of Canadians that is Winnipeg. You'll realize this on day, when you get older.

    • @YskMarquis
      @YskMarquis 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@J..P.. man ik it's a safe place and perfect to raise children, still boring as a fuck and nothing to do. Moved from Toronto and now I'm moving back, winnipeg has a population density of around 1,430 people per square km whic is nothin compared to Toronto's 4,334. A lot of which are imagrants. Not to mention the amount of ethnic enclaves there due to it being a popular location for those who imagrate to Canada. And Canada as a whole is known for and proud of being diverse and multi-cultured.

      Winnipeg is routinely the crime capital of Canada per capita. The rest of the country is peaceful rural towns and communities filled with wonderful kind-hearted, salt of the earth people - excluding the native reservations, which struggle greatly with poverty, crime and drugs.
