Ko Thi Dance Company
Ko Thi Dance Company will be celebrating it's 55th anniversary in 2024. Ko Thi is also one of the last non-profit African Dance organizations in the United States. I was under the impression that we should be overexposing for slog3 nearly two stops. Am I correct in that assumption, because your footage looks like it's exposed more or less properly?
Great question and typically you should overexpose for Slog3 but Emotive Color provides instructions when you purchase their LUTs. They recommend that you set the A7S3 to ISO 800 find your equal exposure. I hope this helps!

Do you know if there is anyway to actually bake the image into the file? I know the fx3 came out with a firmware update that allows you to embed a lut onto footage. I have a ninja, but the ninja only records the slog3 footage, it doesn’t record the in camera display assist.

How do I do this update my Lumix 12-35mm F2.8 but I have a black magic 4k camera? is it possible to do the update with this camera?
Unfortunately it is not possible. You will need a lumix camera such as the GH5, G9, etc to update the firmware on your lens. I hope this helps!

Thank you!! In theory the lut will work as long as you film in 4:2:2 10bit. Since the A7siii & A74 sensors are different you can expect the colors will not be 100% the same. I will be picking up the A74 and testing out this lut! Consider subscribing to stay tuned!
