Rolando Vargas Jr, who also goes by the name Nano, is a 18 year old #boxer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Trained by his Father Rolando Vargas Sr, Nano fights out of the United Community Center (UCC) in Milwaukee’s Southside. Nano was a member of the 2017 USA Junior Olympics Team and has been tearing it up in the Amateur #Boxing Circuit. Winning titles in multiple tournaments, Nano now has his eyes set on turning Professional. Nano’s impeccable boxing foundation establish by the support of his father and teammates at UCC will no-doubly propel Nano to his ultimate goal; becoming World Champion.
This film is a glimpse in to Nano’s journey as a fighter. It is also a metaphor for everyone watching. No matter your situation, you all have an innate ability to over come any obstacles thrown in your way. You all have it… The Fighter In You.

This film was shot on the Panasonic GH5 with the Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm f2.8 (Version 1) and the Sigma 50-100mm f1.8 adapted with the Metabones Speed Booster XL (Nikon F-mount). All footage was filmed in Ultra High Definition (UHD) 4K at 60 frames per second (fps) and downscaled to 1080P (High Definition). The final footage was edited, color corrected and graded in Final Cut Pro X. All music was composed, mixed and mastered by José Castillo in Logic Pro X.
