You're too far away for us, we are in Birmingham. But had someone come out and pressure wash the drive, since then been getting weeds all over the place. They put sand down, another operator said they should not have put sand down it blocks drainage apparently and should have used granite, showed me the bricks that have groves in them around edges and said they would not sand them?? if you put sand down yourself it just sinks down the cracks completely. They ended up just jet washing it as they said they did not have any granite. Since then I have just presure washed it myself with karcher but weeds just keep coming back. I'm getting on abit now and need someone local who knows what they are doing to get rid of these weeds once and for all. I Ialso have these pesky weeds growing in between the gravel at sides of block pathing on the driveway, that some company said would not happen when they put the gravel down as they put a membrane down first, but that has not stopped them growning though. What can I use to get rid of them, I cannot bend down anymore to pick them out and they have been left to grow. thinking I can just about manage to spray some weed killer over them all, but if you don't pull them out properly they just grown back anyway seems a constant battle.

Paul I've watched many videos but yours are by far the best explanation wise. As I've commented on a couple of your other Video's before I'm just sorting out starting up my own cleaning business down south and your inspiration is awsome mate. How on earth you price up a huge job like that is beyond me and something i have to learn to do. Hopefully i will start on small jobs to build up experience. Have you videos on resanding and sealing block paving..cheers mate

Also what size water tank do you use. Can you plug the hose directly in to your jetwash hence no need for a tank. Are the customer's happy for you to use their water considering some have water meters. Sorry for all the questions but just trying to grab some knowledge of experienced people like yourself

Great to watch and you do a fantastic job. Can i ask what made you go in to this line of work. Im only asking as i have recently been made redundant and looking at starting up my own business doing this exact job (not in your area 😊) Have booked a course on learning how to etc. Albeit scary starting up my own business your Video's do inspire me to have a go on my own. The only thing I've got to get right is the correct pricing of jobs. Do i charge by the square metre of the job and if so what to charge is stimping me. Don't want to overcharge but also not to undercharge. I know it also differs if resanding and if customer wants it resealed as well. Anyway thanks for the Video's as they have motivated me to try my own business. Any tips you may have have greatly appreciated.

Nothing worse than something like that happening and having to carry on with the job gutted.

Good video, I was gobsmacked how high the fence panels are 😳😳 unless it was at the back of the house but if it's the front I thought 6ft fence is not legal. Fair play to them - I bet they don't get on with the neighbours 😅

Did that cladding cost you fortune? how did customer go with it?

Great vid I thought I was the only nutter to work in those conditions I won’t take my lad with me in that weather though as if he slips it’s me being sued under hse and risk assessment etc due to water freezing on the floor but I’ll happily work in it Sorts the men from the boys😂 Hypo doesn’t work as effective under -2 but a strong mix works I use around 4% when it’s that cold

Why are you sanding the deck? All you have to do is wet it, inject sodium hydroxide on, wait 5 minutes and pressure wash it. It’ll look better than new in a fraction of the time. M-1 deck wash is what I use, with an acid injector. I’ve done more decks than I could count that way. Cake walk. You should try it Bud.

How long after applying weedkiller did you jetwash Paul ?

Ha buddy. Been enjoying your videos very insightful. I’m a window cleaner by trade use wfp. We have the same issue with low water pressure to going into our filter system. So we run a booster pump. Iv seen other videos of people jetting washing and they run the booster pump in the vans. This may be something you could look into

Great video Paul The only thing I do differently with the red algae is brush a bit of sodium hydroxide or household bleach on it first with brush and bucket or wfp as it contains hydroxide and that removes the protective coating the algae produces allowing the hypo to then penetrate better which removes the red algae lot easier Only needs a few minutes to work but makes a big difference I reckon Keep up the great work I do this as a business and have still subbed Watch these vids in the evening after a day of doing the job I need to get a life😂

Hi Paul When you're applying the hypo or biocide what are you using to pump it when using the handheld sprayer on the lower part of the walls..thanks

oh boy, that stuff looks too similar to what I have in my back garden. the only thing that gives me hope is that it's on less poreus material. but I've been at it with scrubbing brushes and it aint budging yet 😥 wish me luck.
