Block Paving SEALING SUCCESS, Knaresborough. Oddly Satisfying.

  • This block paved driveway was in terrible condition and the home owners were absolutely fed up with it.
    After we explained the benefits a deep clean pressure wash, followed by application of durable acrylic sealant, they were left with no doubts this was what they needed.
    Because of an unusually wet start to the year, this job took longer than usual to complete, but the final result was stunning and well worth the wait.

    Lol lichen big enough to be in a museum! Good one! This is the first time I’ve heard about a resin sealant… and don’t you hate bad drainage? I don’t understand why they don’t consider that when building these block paving drives…

    • @jetreadyuk
      @jetreadyuk  ปีที่แล้ว

      Resin sealants make it easier to clean in the future. Yep, bad drainage always turns a good day into a bad one.

    Hi paul, whats the best chemical to get rid of oil stains on the drive way?

    • @jetreadyuk
      @jetreadyuk  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's a tough one and it depends what the drive is made of. Are you in the trade? If so try Synergy Clean Pro from Pureseal Services. If you can't buy from Pureseal, you'll need a degreaser and lots of luck. Don't get your hopes up.

    Hi bro hope your well looking at starting an exterior cleaning business how small would you start what do you do in the winter months used to have a reach and wash set up I got injured couldn't walk partner ran the business into the ground was wondering are we looking at a van decent jet washer and surface cleaner and a x jet

    • @jetreadyuk
      @jetreadyuk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All you need to get started is a decent pressure washer and a website. Winter is quieter, but there is seasonal work to be found such as gutter and roof cleaning.

    Your channel came up in my recommended & I'm glad I clicked to watch as you're the first pressure cleaning channel I've seen putting sealer down on a driveway. Thorough clean up & was impressed with the resin coating as it gave a similar water run off to a well waxed car 👍

    • @jetreadyuk
      @jetreadyuk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's an excellent way of finishing the job off, and makes it easier to clean in the future. I'm glad you're enjoying the channel and thank you for watching.

      @@jetreadyuk No problem. Added you to my favourites as I enjoy your explanations & watching people power wash etc is relaxing to me. Subscribed to help get you closer to the 1k subs you need.
      Quick (ish) question if you don't mind;- I was watching some of your other videos (will get through them all eventually) & noticed you putting down Hypo. I've seen others do this & wondered why you did it before jetwashing.
      I'm no expert so excuse my ignorance but I would have thought after was better as the Hypo can get straight to work on the stubborn black/white lichen without having to first cut through the "muck" first. I've seen others also do it either way so it could just be a preference thing. Thanks.👍
      EDIT:- Oh, and excuse me if the reason was because that patio was very clean to start with so it made little difference either way - as I said I've only watched a couple so far so it could be per job dependant.

      @@yips_way Good question. Pre-treating with hypo isn't something I do routinely, although some people do. In my case I sometimes pre-treat if I'm working on a heavily soiled resign bound surface. People have told me it helps with the tramline effect when using a flat surface cleaner.

    Hi Paul. I was just wondering what the main difference was from using that red industrial sprayer used here apposed to a standard garden pump spray? I noticed you used one of those when applying some deck cleaner in another video. Thanks, Jack

    • @jetreadyuk
      @jetreadyuk  ปีที่แล้ว

      The red sprayer is specifically designed for spraying resin products and concrete additives. It is heavy duty when compared with a garden sprayer, and it is made of metal. Expect to pay about £190 for one in the UK. $220.00 in USA

    Wow, what a job Paul, amazing how much sludge all the cleaning created.

    • @jetreadyuk
      @jetreadyuk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, lots of sludge. I tipped it beneath a large shrub in the front garden. It's good for the plants, lots of organic matter and improves drainage.
