Paul you absolutely are a pro, that job was unbelievable, looked like new, bet you were right in saying better than the day it went in.
Seen that most state those boards should be fitted groves down as all they do is hold dirt, grime and water

Agree that boards should be fitted grooves down. This helps drainage and improves ventilation. The common perception is that grooves up means non-slip, which is of course absolute nonsense.
