Good video. Just sharing my experience. I’m outside often because I grow food. . I’ve seen 4 snakes in 5 years. first scorpion ever in my pool dead. 2 Bob cats. I’m near the mountain in La Quinta so yes it’s normal to have more wildlife. Lots of bats but they don’t bother you.. I live here full time and summer is brutal! 2 months of 115 daily many 120 days. It is hot at night all night 24/7. I love it here in October,through April. So beautiful!! You need to get away in the summer for a break. It’s hard on doggies too! They can burn paws. Be careful! Southwest christian church in Indian wells is fantastic for all ages! There are Catholic Churches too.

Yeah, I grew up in Palm Springs in the 70´s -80's. In the summer time there was no one there, just us people with no money. Palm Desert was all desert, except towards the mountains (Palms-to-PIne highway side). There were no golf courses out in the desert areas, just sand dunes and creosote bushes.That desert area was all destroyed in the mid-80s into the 90s. It´s ironic because they would prohibit or complain about "dune buggies" and motor bikes destroying the desert, yet the damage they did was miniscule compared to covering the desert landscape with golf courses.

I dont like the very strict noise rules in Palm Springs. I love my music. concerts and blasting music out of my garage as I am working on my vet or my ninja motorcycle. I hate HOA fees. you can lose your house if they go unpaid. Texas and south Florida is loaded with HOA BS.

The summers aren’t too bad. We go from air conditioned cars to air conditioned buildings. But around mid September, early October the cabin fever really sets in. 😝

I live in Joshua Tree. up the mountain. love to hang out in Palm Springs. would not want to live there. too dam hot. in Joshua Tree it is 10 degrees cooler than Palm Springs. but I love the restaurant scene in Palm Springs. I have a 93 corvette. a 2014 prius is my daily driver. also have a 1985 ford f 150. no rust. and a 1980 Honda accord hatchback 5 speed manual. dont like trader joes. I came here from chicago born and raised. I am a Panda Express person. chicken breast and white steamed rice. I can eat that every day. chicken teriyaki.

There are some kind people in this world. Brandy is one of them. She doesn't oversell. She goes out of her way to show all sides.
