For those wondering about cost and process for adding a pool - it’s an easy thing to do. Contractors are easy to find and they will gather all necessary permits from the city for you. Pool construction generally takes 3-5 months depending on the pool size or any specialties you’ll want. Cost will range anywhere from 40k for a small pool all the way up to 100k for pool & spa, water features etc. Thanks for watching everyone! ❤Let me know if there’s any more questions y’all have. 😊

Hello Brandy from Ouray, Colorado. Thank you very much for this great tour of some new home options out in Coachella!
I think I had commented in a different video, we were out in your parts in April for 2 weeks of camping. The day before we left CO, my wife showed me a zillow listing of a mobile home in Palm Springs that had been completely renovated; and I believe it was in the neighborhood of $120k. Well, after we arrived and started looking at places, we expanded to condos that were over 3x's more. And then we added some homes in the hunt; which were up to 6.5x's more than the mobile home hehehe. These were all in Palm Springs. We ended up settling on a condo that was 3 blocks from downtown Palm Springs. So, it was the same as the lower prices in these houses you highlighted here, and only got 1/2 to 1/3 the square footage.
We were initially going for something we could visit occasionally, maybe some light renting to defray costs a bit, and eventually winter in them for up to 6 months after I quit working. The item the condo doesn't necessarily answer for us is if we moved to the Coachella Valley full time. The extra space of a house would have helped better with that. And, we could have even gone as far as getting a 1 story home in the event that we were completely leaving CO because our mobility deteriorated.
Anyways, I liked these houses you highlighted! I don't think I'd like to be as far out as Coachella, but I do appreciate you showing these so as to help calibrate the mind as to what is available in the area.
PS. Thank you for the pool summary too!

So nice but i don't understand why did they put carpet at the stairs and at the bathroom ? even the bedroom I would install granite flooring.

To be honest, me either 😅But the beauty of new construction is that you can choose to change that. It’ll cost you, but you do have that option. ;)

Hello, I’ve been looking at home prices in the valley for the last few months and am confused. The houses you’re showing in this video are comparable to prices where I live in OK. How is this possible?

Coachella is a developing area. Moderate to low income makes for more affordable homes.
