Shame on you! This is Armenian heritage. Eastern Turkey was Armenian Highlands/Armenian Kingdom. Western Turkey was Byzantium (Greek)/Eastern Empire. Turkey was created in 1453 AD and Turkey celebrated its 569th Anniversary in May 2022. Falsification of Turkish 571 years of history. Mardin is historic Armenian land, Turks/ Seljukes and Mongols come from the East and Far east. Armenia and Iran have been neighbours for thousands of years. There is no country called Turkey on any historic maps. Armenia celebrated its capital's 2,800 Anniversary 6 years ago, it is 29 years older than Rome. Istanbul was Constintanopole, city of Constantin, Agro Dagh was Mount Ararat (Massis), Izmir was Smyrna, Ani was one of Armenia's capitals known as city of 1001 one churches...etc.
Lies, lies, lies...the turkish state has been and is persecuting systematically ancient minorities, especially the two eldest peoples in Anatolia and Asia Minor: the Armenians and the Greeks respectively. It s less than two years ago that the turned the premier Christian landmark of the East, Hagia Sophia from museum to mosque. What civilised country takes such barbaric petty-nationalist actions???
