wow the face looks way better than the promo shots! I think this one looks more like him in book of boba fett while the figuarts one looks more like mark hamill luke.

Had this PO when it was first put up but later canceled it. I had forgotten I already owned the SHF version.

Wondering how this compares to the 3rd party JNB Toys Mando Luke.

I think this might be the best Jedi Knight Luke figure out there for now.

The head sculpt is good, but those shoulders are really killing it for me.

Sh Figuarts>Mafex

The figure just looks kinda cheap for probably a near $100 figure. I’m happy with the black series even though the outfit isn’t 100% accurate.

I think I'm still good with the Figuarts.

I think the real difference between headsculpts is that Mafex tend to be a bit softer. I have the SHF and I don't think there's any real difference in accuracy. The real problem with the SHF is they cheated and reused the Rotj body sculpt which isn't accurate to The Mandelorian. Also they're undersized. Looks like the cloak hood is easier to use here too. This will go well next to my Mara Jade.

I'm not seeing where this beats the SHF. The SHF is even better in some areas. The only thing that the MAFEX clearly does better is the cloak.

Are the hips on drop-down joints or no? Edit: I dunno about that cone-head hood...

SHFiguarts Mandalorian Luke sculpt face is unbeatable in my book. Nice review btw!

I'll have to hold full judgment until I get my Mafex, but I've been pretty darn impressed with the Figuarts version. The figuarts face is great, I even like the cloak. And the shoulder joints seem much cleaner than this mafex one.

Looks like a good but not great Mafex release as face likeness is primary issue for me since don't see much Mark Hamill imo. I prefer the SHF face likeness but hair looks much better than the weird shine & seam line on the SHF imo & cloak appears to be higher quality than the SHF. Very disappointing only has one head sculpt though (Mafex Knightmare Batman has 5 for about same price) as unfortunately has that same sorta bored-like "blank stare" expression as the SHF (just not quite as bad) imo. Not crazy bout the way too visible shoulder ball joints (SHF design is much better imo) but not really an issue since would be posing with the cloak on, for me anyway. Polly a pass for me. Is it possible to conceal the gap by pushing the arms up further? I think the shoulders look awful. Although the Figuarts version still resembles Mark Hamill more, kudos to Mafex for finally creating an accurate Mando Luke.

This figure looks good, it better than shf overall, but i feel like both figure have really weird shoulder, is it look better in posing bro??

I did have a sense that this Luke release might not be seen as the end all, be all Luke like you had mentioned in a recent stream! I like it though, of course, and cannot wait.

I'm excited. Looks like it'll pose a bit better and it looks so good with the cloak on. I wasn't crazy about the shf and have passed on it up to this point. I've seen many reviews and saw it in person when I was in Japan. I picked up a new hope Luke while out there instead even though I really wanted this look for him. That final pose looks incredible. I'd love to see how he scales with that recent shf new hope Vader with the soft goods robes all over. That's the one I decided to go for.

I really hate his arms. I don’t know why mafex change up certain figures so randomly at times. Their Loki had the most insanely bad arm design too and this doesn’t seem much better. Not excited for this one to come in much, but it’ll look good on the shelf I’m sure.
