The comic Deadpool and Miles are my most wanted. But sadly I don't think they're coming. My main reasoning is they are both designed by Gurihiru studios, which would need a current licensing agreement with them for Medicom to be able to re-release or renew those two figures. The fact that nearly every other Spidey, X-Men, Hush, DKR, etc has gotten a re-release but they haven't makes me believe that agreement has expired and that's the reason why they haven't made a reappearance.

If they do renewal versions of Wolverine, I hope it includes the classic belt buckle rather than the X belt. I also hope they redo the tiger stripe suit with black stripes and the claws of the brown suit version.

I recently got the comic Thor to go along with the comic Cap so I really need to get the comic Iron Man now, but I don't know if I should wait for a metallic red+gold repaint (the stealth suit has metallic paint so I think there's a chance 🤞) or just get the other (I'm on the "don't need the plasma cannon" team lol) 🤔
My buddy’s 2 year olds son’s friend’s grandmother who dates a guy who has a son who works at Mafex said that they are working on a headsculpt for brown suit Wolverine

Mafex getting outdone by CT. CT can make knockoffs 99% quality for a 3rd of the price. They’re also accessible. Finding legit ones in the wild is very difficult. I just got back from Japan, visiting quite a few well known Mafex vendors (costing less than 90$) and I couldn’t find a Wolverine to save my life. It’s crazy.
Just bad timing on your part to find a Wolverine. They released it a few times this year. It’s no different than hitting up any shop in any country looking for figures that released months if not years ago. Not being able to find them is testament to the quality (demand) of their product. CT is fine I suppose if it’s a placeholder but just that. I’d never knock the original company that needs to develop the engineering, secure the license, pay for the manufacturing, create the box art, etc over a company simply reproducing what came before
I don't think "cell shading" is the way to go. I think that Spider-Man is overdone and pretty odd looking in hand personally. A very subtle wash in spots, and not necessarily in black, would probably help some of the figures. Of course they did actually do a blue wash on the X-Factor Cyclops (it wasn't consistent) and every reviewer complained about paint bleed when that wasn't what was going on. The Marvel line isn't as consistent as the DC line for some reason. Is that why every single Bandai Macross re-release right now is being labelled as a "renewal" version, so they can raise the price?
Yes i totally agree about the shading part. Especially the Mafex iron man comic version i wish they would add more details to his armor like hot toys did theirs. This makes him look like he's wearing yellow leggings lol. They should add more texture to his armor, i was going to get him but it just looks like he's wearing a red onesie and yellow leggings.

Per chance do you know (or somebody on the channel) what is going on here?: I've purchased multiple copies of the reissue mafex no. 88 venom figure from various overseas outlets (Hobby Genki, nin nin game, etc.) and literally every single copy of this figure, no matter the store, is coming with double tape on the lower lid of the box. Its so strange because I am not seeing this with any of the other mafex figures, resissued or first run, only the mafex no. 88 Venom figure. i hope these are technically sealed/Mint figures but i am not sure. Is this from the manufacturer? Thank you. -John

I hope they do another reissue of the 075. I own both of their previous releases, but I would like 1 or 2 more. I’ve been buying custom headsculpts to represent specific artist’s work in my collection, and a lot of the artists I enjoy typically use darker blues for spidey. Not a huge fan of the 185 color scheme unless it has a John Romita sr. Style headsculpt. It’s just too bright for me.

I wouldn’t expect them to alter the sculpt. The only differences would be paint and/or accessories.
