This guy was holding up my June AmiAmi order more than he was holding up Batman! The ab issue is kinda lame, but my bigger thing is the ankles. Really wish they were better. The rotation helps, but an actual boot swivel would've been better to not break up the sculpt of the boot. Surprised Medicom actually know the concept of alternate face plates and not heads. Because... I mean... Rogue.
Rogue…what could have been. I agree having the boot swivel vs the foot would have been better but at least we got it. The abs on these two are just head scratchers.

How does it scale compared to Mcfarlane? I PO'd this fig and passed on all the Mcfarlane releases as I really want a normal sized Bane like how he appeared in og Knightfall comics.

Got it sorted out pretty quickly, thanks. The new AI is able to sort things out a lot faster than waiting on a human to do the work. Pain in the arse regardless. Got into a few accounts which I’m still sorting through and trying to fix.

I was happy Mafex is doing these big characters, was hoping for a Hulk in future, but this seems too lean for it. For a Bane it seems nice! I would get it when there is the green tubes and cylinder version comes out.
The green tubes was on my mind when I gave it the score. The gap in the abs and the shine on the pants I felt could have been done better which is why I didn’t give it a 10.

You seem to enjoy the figure, most folks in the comments wrote positive things... I think it looks terrible!! His proportions (even with the stylization) look weird and wonky, like old toy biz ML figures, his skin tone looks like he has hepatitis, the paint they used looks cheap, it's pretty lame that the tank top and armbands are just painted instead of sculpted, I think (couldn't tell 100%) and if they are sculpted, it still looks like cheap paint. He's not big enough, he doesn't look at all intimidating.... again, if this is a specific version and it's supposed to look like that and Im missing something, let me know please. .. lol! I feel like a complete d.bag for totally blasting the first figure I've watched you reveiw, but I liked your reveiw, regardless and I rekon it's part of collecting figures, to disagree at times. I was surprised they went with faceplates instead of full headsculpts but then remembered he has that tube that goes from his arm to his head. Maybe they wanted to avoid any breakage from having to disconnect the tube when replacing the headsculpts 🤔 Smart move from Medicom.
This is true but with Bane knowingly being released, that’s a pretty important part of the figure. It’s not like they didn’t anticipate it when designing the figure.

I’ll be purchasing one but that’s something they should not continue doing. I agree the uniform should look flat. Thanks for the review. It was nice to see them work on scaling from one character to another. Hopefully we will start seeing some bigger and smaller figures.
I’m ok with the head plates. It works well with this figure. I think it’s something they may incorporate more with future releases. Can’t wait to see what they have planned at their exhibit in a few weeks.

@@KaijuDaddyJapan yeah I was hoping if that was going to be the case they would hold off from shipping my June order for bane to release like they did for mafex winter soldier last month but now if he does release in the next day or so I’ll have to wait till the end of the month to get him in hand just to bundle my other items to save on shipping. I mean that aside he looks great and I’m glad we’re getting larger figures from mafex so we can hopefully get a darkseid or hulk.
@@KaijuDaddyJapan as I suspected I got charged for bane this morning. Which is super annoying it being separated from my June order and getting a whole separate shipping charge for a difference of 2 days. I contacted them to see if anything can be done to have them shipped together.

I’m ok with it. I think they decided they wanted him a certain size compared to Batman and figures altering the legs was the best method.

Hobby search removed this from my June order and now now says after July. I swear if this is ready within the next day or so thats gonna be annoying.
That’s weird of them. I reported this was releasing July 1 or 2 a few weeks ago. It’s been common knowledge when it was releasing for retailers.
