Summary for 178 : The next mail right after the preview, is about a fans who thanked them for sharing a lot of photos of before and after the 9/12 live show. The fans wanted to know who's idea was it to share all those photos and whether they talked about it before the show? She was really happy about it, and wish them to share more of those photos on their next lives as well. Kai got a little confused on sharing photos, since he didn't think he had shared any, but Aoi said, Ruki took some and shared them on SNS. Aoi then said, they've been doing this for 20 years or so now, so perhaps a gradual change would be good for them. Kai said, yeah, bit by bit, we starting to share what is to be part of the GazettE, showing the fans what they usually couldn't see. Aoi also said, we tend to share photos of perfect situations only before, but now perhaps we can share a bit more of ourselves. Kai agrees with him, and tell us to wait for more stuff from them. The next mail is about a fans who thinks he had 5000 yen in his wallet, but then because of the new design, it turned out to be 2000 yen cash. He had eaten lunch and thought he wouldn't have enough money to pay, but it turned out the meal only for 1300 yen. So, did any of you had experience like that before? Aoi and Kai said they had similar experience. Aoi said one time he only had 1000 yen in his wallet, and he thought it'll be enough for lunch, but then he forgot and ordered a glass of beer. He panicked at the cash register, and had to leave his ID card for insurance. He then took out some money, and returned to pay for his lunch again. Kai laughed about it, why didn't you pay with card, which Aoi replied, the shop didn't accept any card. I couldn't pay with my phone as well, so had to leave my ID instead. Luckily, I had my ID with me, or else I had to plead to them probably. The next mail is about a fans telling them about her friend who always buy everything from flea market, even cosmetics and skin care. She said she didn't agree with the friend, but the friend always said that she can sell and buy easily when it's not needed anymore. Do you agree or not? They both disagree. Aoi said he never buy anything from flea market/2nd hand, since he rather buy things new. Perhaps if he had to buy, then he'll buy clothes only. The same thing with Kai, he rather just buy clothes 2nd hand, and not skincare/cosmetics, since it's not hygienic at all. Aoi said in the past, 2nd hand shops tends to be cheap, and lots of auctions for things he wanted, but nowadays 2nd hands shop/flea market can be very expensive instead. The only reason he'll buy from those places are if he found something that can't be find anywhere else. The next mail is about a person who said that he's the type of person who wants to know the exact time if someone is late. Is that a weird thing or is that what usually normal people do? Because he wants to know how long he has to wait if someone said they'll be late. He need to know in advance, and not waste time waiting around. Kai and Aoi agrees. They want to know the exact time because they rather not waste time waiting. Some people kept saying just a bit more, just a bit more, but it gets annoying after 30-40 minutes of waiting. They've been doing this for 20 yrs, so if someone said he'll be late, he better tell them when he'll come, or it's annoying. Aoi said, well, sometimes Kai-san tends to be late because he's forgotten about something and had to grab it. (Kai laughed about it). Then Kai said, please don't be late, it's wasting time. Please come on time, unless it's something unavoidable like traffic condition. The next segment is about personality quiz. 1st quiz : The items that you're nostalgic about during festival : - Goldfish Scooping - Target shooting (sorry, couldn't get the exact meaning, but it's similar to shoot something and you'll win a prize) - Yoyo fishing - Japanese candy Kai said Yoyo, while Aoi said Goldfish. Aoi also said he never saw target shooting until he came to Tokyo, he thought it only exists in anime. Aoi then checked the personality assessment after they picked the answer they wanted. The target means it's the type of person still trying to become an adult (50% of adulthood), and might hit a wall but persevere and try their hardest. The candy (70%) means it's the type of person who can read the situation quickly, and adjust to their surrounding easily. The yoyo (30%) : means the type of person who still like a child, and has a long way to become an adult. They might surprise others with their action and excitement, because of this, they are still need to grow as a better adult. The Goldfish (100%) : means this type of person is a guardian/parent. This person tends to protect others, make good judgment of situations, and tend to be a trustworthy type of person for others. At this moment, Kai just kept apologising and laughing hearing Aoi said that. Because apparently, the answer is on-point for both of them, and Kai apologise for being a child, and for Aoi to be such parent for all of them. Aoi said, well I tried.. I tried.. but not very successful. (Kai laughed and apologised again, and said please continue taking care of us) Aoi : i will.. i will 2nd quiz : If a friend tell you to tell the truth about him/her, would you tell the truth? - Tell the truth - Tell the truth but chose the words carefully - Tell only certain truth - Not saying anything at all Kai picked B, while Aoi picked D B means someone who cares about others, but rather not hurt them with the truth, so only speaks certain words and hoping others would understand about it. This type tends to try get along with everyone. D is someone who rather not break the peace, and kept everything their way. They might say the truth but not directly, and sometimes seen as a shallow person, but they tend to be careful with others. Which again, the answer on point according to Kai, and Aoi said he rather not pick a fight with anyone else. (Kai laughed again) Then it's near the ending of this week, Aoi puts on happy bday song for Kai and brought out the bday cake. Aoi also read some of the b'day messages from fans. Some said how cool Kai looked when he plays drum, and how good looking he is. Aoi commented, ah.. the child type seems to have lots of fans (haha), he also said the cake looks delicious. Kai said someone called him this morning and asked what kind of cake he wants. He said, choco cake, which is what he got now. Next msg is asking whether they use any perfume on daily basis? since the fans like to use variety of perfume depending on mood. Aoi said he use something called Smoky Razor, in a white bottle, which he forgot the brand of it, and he's been using it for a while. He likes using Japan-Made lately, because he likes to support Japan brands. Not that he didn't enjoy foreign brands, but he tries to support Japan Brand whenever possible. Uruha been using Bottega's perfume for as long as he remembers, and rarely change the scent. Aoi said maybe because they're getting older, so they tends to stick with certain scents only, and not change a lot, especially during lives. They tend to just use something simple to avoid weird scent. Next msg is about Gaze Trivia. Did you know why it's called Blue color instead of Green in Japanese language? Such as Ao Ringo (Green Apple), Ao Nori (Green Seaweed), Ao Juice (Green Juice). It's because back in old Japanese, there isn't any green language, so it's only Black, White, Red and Blue. That's why even now, the word Blue still in use for many Japanese things. So does the Gazette has any color preferences since the Gazette images is dark and vkei? Uruha said he likes drinking Ao Jiru (Green Juice), even the one in small stick sachets, which surprises Aoi since he didn't like as much. Uruha said he loves the taste of "green" in his food, which Aoi said, ahh the taste of grassy/leafy food. Aoi said actually he loves the color Yellow, but when they assigned the band color, Reita got the Yellow color and Aoi finds that a bit... jealous about it. He really likes yellow yet the fans thinks Aoi likes blue because of his name (Aoi). Aoi said he really dislike blue color. Uruha was surprised hearing that Aoi loves yellow, he thought Aoi suits Purple a bit more (A : Purple is your colour, isn't it!) (laugh) That's true.. I got purple, but I like green too. A : You pick the oddest color usually, like turquoise green or emerald green U : Well, I thought if I picked the color that rarely anyone like, then I'd be the cool one with difficult color choices A : Ah, is that your thought process? Because no one wants it, I'd look cool in it? (laugh) So you got no fav color then? U : Well, that's not exactly it as well... Next msg is about a fans who back then, went to an event and for the first time applied a make up. Since the fans didn't have much money and not knowing make up much, she bought it on 100 yen shop. She puts on blue eyeshadow and blue eyeliner, thinking it looks cool. Looking back, she might look like a monster instead. What does Gazette think about applying make up? Uruha said make up can be expensive, esp for beginners. Aoi said lately it's been natural type of make up, and eyebrows tends to be more natural these days. But back in the day, it's more into hiragana HE shapes eyebrow, and it was more difficult to draw. Ruki tends to be better in make up, even back in their early days, even now Ruki still the best at applying make up. Uruha agrees with Aoi that Ruki definitely better in that area. Uruha and Aoi also agrees that nowadays the vkei bands are much better in make up than they ever were back then. It seems like these new bands have make up lessons or something because they look better, kinda like dolls. Next is a msg about a fans that used to join a literature club back in school time, but she isn't that good writing about stories, so she tends to make up stories about her fav idols. She wrote about her love with the idols and how they would continue their relationships, then she published it on school magazines. Now that she looked back, it was totally embarrassing. Uruha said he'll never forgive people who made stories about their idols. Aoi replied, really? Even if girls wrote it? Which Uruha said, it doesn't matter because they shouldn't made up stories about people they don't know. Aoi agrees that people should not easily made up stories about their idols, whether it's just for fun or joking around. Uruha said, there are doujins/comiket people where they do this stuff, and he really hates that because it's a bit icky if people write love story about their idols. But Aoi said, well not that your writing skill anything to do with it, but maybe not writing about idols love story is better? Uruha agrees that perhaps writing something else would be better. They should appreciate their idols more than just making up stories.

Although Aoi never experienced a band without vocalist yet, he was curious about it. Uruha said it must be difficult without a vocal, who would encourage the audiences, who do the MC and all that. Uruha said he might check it and see if he can download it, Aoi said he might just buy it. He would love to see the perspective of rock band from the audience as well. Next message, the fans been trying to copy Uruha spraying water from his mouth during lives since it looks cool, but the fans been trying many times and still unable to do so. Uruha then said, ah that's good then, but sometimes I find it difficult carrying lots of things without bags. Maybe not a big one, but at least a bag to put stuff when he needs too. (Aoi : ah, like a small carry bag) Aoi also mentioned that if it's first date, then someone will pay first isn't it, so don't worry about having split bill. But then if you need to split bill, maybe carry some cash just to prepare as well. Even with friends, sometimes you need to split bills, so please make sure to carry some cash too.
