why don't you call it the Atari 2024 and lay down a custom paint job on it?
Wyse Keyboard is around 2 dollars in my place, i think it's worth it to replace my cheapo keyboard with all the faded keys.
Hello, I would like to know if the card already comes preloaded with games?
@@harrisonsantiago1830 I purchased mine from Atarimax. It came with an SD card pre-loaded with Beef Drop; a Burgertime clone. You will need to supply any other ROMs, instructions, or backdrops that you would like to add.
I read file hack, and you sir, dashed my hopes beautifully.
This is my favorite, yet most disliked, video that I have done to date. It gets a lot of hate but it will never come down ;-)
Lol the 5200 was a Goliath 😂
It all makes sense when you store the controllers in the case!
For those who want to improve their RF out : spray contact cleaner to clean switches & the 2-3 channel selector.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a try.
That's a pretty neat little system!
I have a couple more things to show off on this computer in the next video.
What an awesome score! With a great box no less. You can usually buy new drop in power supplies from Mean Well.
I like the look of the power supply mounted internally. I plan to pull it apart to identify the band and how it is wired up.
Cool stuff! Love seeing Loch and I think the keyboard is SUPER cool :)
Best fan of the channel!
Great video! I was close to by an ADAM. But regarding the size and the awkward hardware, i pulled back! The Coleco was a great system back then.
The internal power supply makes a world of difference. Really tidies up the system.
Way cool ! Thank you for sharing your Adam with us!
Glad that you enjoyed the video! I have a few more videos planned for this series.
I have a Vader, the most beautiful one 🖤🖤🖤🗻🗻🗻
Originally I preferred the 6 switch woody as it was what I had as a kid but the Vader grew on me.
Space Carvern? In my humble opinion, the best game on the entire Atari 2600 library ❤🗻🖤
Darn you Pedro, now I am going to have to play Space Cavern again!
@ I love your Channel man! So underrated, I’m trying to get a commodore VIC-20 here in Brazil… Quite a challenge 😅
I have the same keyboard with a German layout, but it is called the 'Hama PK-300,' featuring a Windows 7 logo on the Windows key. The PS/2 port is used for connecting a PS/2 mouse. It seems that WYSE shipped these keyboards along with PS/2 mice (also from WYSE). This is a very interesting keyboard; although it has a rubber dome, it boasts a unique embedded PS/2 to USB mouse converter feature, cable management, heavy sturdy housing and a 90s design, despite being produced in the second half of the 2000s.
Thanks for sharing. Despite being new, the keyboard did not come with hardly any documentation so I had no idea the PS2 port was intended for a mouse. I love the shape and overall feel of the keyboard. The rubber dome keys are a bit stiff but not too bad.
i love joystick
The Gamestation Pro joysticks look cool with the LED ring but the buttons are poorly placed for someone with large hands like me.
it great i got mine few days ago as used for $30
Nice find, time to load it up with some ROMs ;-)
The spinning circle on your videos annoying but your videos are informative x
I think you are referring to the 'Boing Ball'. This was the original demo of the Amiga computer. Nothing at the time could match it.
Had one of those - even wrote some articles using it
I have yet done anything with my Palm since this video. Still plan to pull it out for a more in depth video ;-)
workbench INI? no such thing. you're missing the workbench.library file
Probably forgot to put it in the zero slot.
Probably misspoken. The A4000T ROM is missing on or two files that are part of a typical Amiga ROM. I understand that it was done to make room for the SCSI drivers.
Got mine in 1995 after seeing doom and avp not believing my eyes and had to have with tempest 2000 rayman canon fodder brutal sports football sky hammer wolfienstien. 3d rebooteriods I war defender of the crown
Doom on the Jaguar was very good for it's time as it played full screen; no postage stamp.
I use the retro boy’s 5200 arcade controller a blessing ❤
Not a bad looking stick but a bit on the pricey side.
This system could do it all just look at the home brew scene Pac-Man 2016 looks just like the arcade sinestar rescue on fractus tempest miner foryniner defender Mario brothers av ported plus donkey Kong just obliterated the colovivsion version
I love the 5200. If the joystick had been more robust and the 2600 adaptor released sooner it may have done better in the market.
This is so cool !!!
For an LCD game it is surprisingly fun to play too!
would it not be possible for them to put in the games that don't work,so you can play them from the menu.
There is a firmware update that improves compatibility but some games still won't work. Overall it is very good. The new 7800+ will be coming out shortly so it may be a good opportunity to get into Atari if you have not done so already.
Yo tengo uno de esos y quiero conectarlo AMI PC abra algún cable para adaptarle
Este es un formato muy antiguo por lo que probablemente será muy difícil hacerlo.
Looking forward for the new studio tour!
I just put out a Coleco Adam video and I will have additional content shortly. Thanks for watching!
Great review and video! Enjoyed watching it!
@@GeorgesChannel Good to hear that you enjoyed the video. I feel guilty for not doing much with the 2600+ receinty. I have an idea that may prove worthy so stay tuned.
Amazing what they originally did with the structure of the machine. Shame they couldn't keep the momentum into the 90's.
@@naviamiga Other than a few engineers, I'm not sure if anyone at Commodore knew what they had.
¿Cuantos juegos tienes?
No los he contado, pero alrededor de 100. Solía comprarlos por 1 dólar en mercadillos y casas de empeño. ¡Gracias por mirar!
Getting started - get rid of the complex terminology. Understand who is watching this video. I dont want to have to look up words you do not explain.
@@timpeachey9394 Point well taken. I have been into Amiga computers for so long that I forget that not everyone has experiance with them. I will add that the Amiga is a hobby and not something that will replace a modern computer.
What's the make of your parallel cable?
@@manuelalvarado6510 I am pretty sure it is a Belkin. I recently got it at a thrift store; rather difficult to find.
looks like you might want to check your capacitors (replace any of the electrolitic capacitors you find) as they are likely to be out of spec and causing some of the problems too.
Thanks for the suggestion. I may have to do that ;-)
Should see if Atari 7800 Homebrew like Ricki and Vicki or Popeye cartridges
I have not purchased a new Atari game in many years. May be fun, despite expensive, to do so.
The Intellivision Flashback came out in 2014 for $39. It kinda bombed but I liked it anyway. Sadly for me, Tommy Tallarico completely ruined my warm feelings for the Intellivision platform and brand, and now I mostly want it to fade away. One last look via the Atari 50 update coming this fall is enough for me.
It was a great system for it's time. Hopefully Atari does a better job with the Intellivision properties.
id say your tv is off.
@@huseman21 Possibly, but it works great with an Atari and I tried using tuners in 2 different VCRs.
Atari?
@@Lokpique Atari purchased the Intellivision IP. Very exciting stuff!
@@300BaudStudios Now I feel old, I remember when they were competitors! Growing up we had the Atari 2600 and the neighbours had the Intellivision. We were a little spoiled! Loved this video! It really brought back a lot of memories!
I used to love playing the baseball and skiing games back in the 80s. Always wanted an Atari but got Intellivision instead - and it was great too. =)
@@JimBob_McRob The odd one to have but not all that bad!
So many fond memories of playing Intellivision Baseball and Football in the 80s!
@@okrajoe I too would have enjoyed playing the sports games but the only p3ople I knew who had a intellivision were friends of my dad's, not mine.
The Colecovision was better.
@@steverino6954 I agree but it came out later. Technology moved rappidly in the 80's.
yeah, this was 1979 vs 1982 for Colecovision I think. Still, love the homebrew scene for all these systems. The Intellivision has received some NES and 8-bit computer ports over the last few years and lots of new original games that blow away what they were releasing back in the day.
thank you for such video ! lots of love for the Intellivision
@@2001pl Good to hear that you enjoyed the video. I have more planned so stay tuned ;-)
I love my Intellivision console ! so many great games !
@@2001pl They did have some good games on the Intellivision.
@@300BaudStudios wonderful ones, still greatly enjoyable today
Interesting, I never had Intellivision as a kid in the 80's, so I bought Intellivision 1 second hand in 2017 (PAL / Euro version), seller said it's from 1981. Have used it only with crt tv, and it works fine, at least last time I used it (in 2023). Haven't used it with my Sony Bravia tv, and by the looks of it, might be waste of time to even try. I also have the PS2 Intellivision Lives! game, and while I enjoy playing the games in it, and watching the documents, indeed PS2 controller doesn't give authentic Intellivision gaming experience. Certainly would be nice to see modern Intellivision Mini console with original style controllers. I was really looking forward to see what comes out of the Intellivision Amico project, sadly it seems to be canceled now.
@@mrjsv4935 A new mini would be nice as it is getting difficult to keep these old system running.
Had one in the early 90s and even then the video connection was faulty
@@abcpea A system with HDMI out would be awesome!
Uh, they made a new intellivision. The Amico. It was horrible.
It takes a profound level of failure to where the Atari VCS beats you
@@dustin6225 The Amico never shipped. Even if it had I would not have purchased one.
@@300BaudStudiosGood for you. That whole rollercoaster to hell played on my heart a little as an old Intellivision fan. However, TT was a lunatic.
I am looking forward to seeing what Atari does with thier new IP.
Blackjack was great. Te dealer made such funny faces.
Compaired to Atari, it was amazing!
