Just found your channel liked and subscribed. Got this a bit ago. Spending more time on my VCS 800 which I just got. You’ve done the best unboxing of this system I’ve seen. Love Atari. Looking forward to the 2600+!
I almost placed an order for the pro three times, but I keep reading reviews that the controllers have too much latency in them to play games so I did not pull the trigger yet
I have not noticed lag in the joystick but the paddle is not quite right. The sound is left channel only and the SD card does not support folders for sorting but there is a firmware fix for that :-)
I am not sure I fully understand the question but I will try to answer. The original Atari 2600 controllers connect to the system via a 9 pin connector which is not compatible with the Gamestation Pro as it's controller connect via wireless or USB C. So unfortunately swapping controllers between the 2 systems is not an option.
It would have been good to see at least some of the 5200 and 7800 games too, plus checking how side-loaded games worked. You sound like you could do with a throat lozenge, your voice is very croaky. 🐸

Thznk you for the complement and subscription. I have wanted the new vcs since it was announced but still have not purchaced one. Happy gamming!
It can load ROMS from the Sd card as well. Some other controllers can also be used.
Yup, I would like to see a nice collection of built in games as well. Afterall, we paid for it ;-)
The sound issue I've not came across with any other reviewer. Good catch and maybe an updated couple fix that.
Acording to @GenXGrownUp a sound fix is on the way :-)
Great video just discovered your channel and subscribed
Thank you, much appriciated!
Bellissima consolle 👍🏻
Grazie ;-)

Little brother to his older sister in the 80’s and 90’s: “why was my Wico command controller in your room, and why does it smell so weird”?
Let's keep it clean; this is a classic computer and videogame channel ;-)
Check out gen x grown review on this one I getting my atari game station bro in December
@GenXGrownUp did a nice job reviewing the system and may have been the reason we got the SD card slot.
Yep buying it for the same reason SD card slot
How much does the game station weigh- in its box as if it was on a shelf at the store?- without the outer shipping box?
Do Generation and VCS Classic Joystick controllers support X input?

What brand are the batteries
Power Flash Alkaline
it great i got mine few days ago as used for $30
Nice find, time to load it up with some ROMs ;-)
i love joystick
The Gamestation Pro joysticks look cool with the LED ring but the buttons are poorly placed for someone with large hands like me.

I plan to do that shorty. I just need to bring out the 5200.
