Instead of using milk powder we use mava or milk solids for making gulab jamun and also fry on very low heat so that they cook throughout and all the syrup soaked into them… it’s an authentic way of making gulab jamun . Btw great try ❤
Thank you for the advice, we appreciate you sharing your tips and suggestions! 🙏 Will try that a next time, this was a recipe which was a “easy version”😊 Thank you for your continued support 🙏🏻❤️
I made Gulam Jamoon yesterday night, use different flavor essence like Butter scotch, vanilla, pineapple, green apple, etc... in the sugar syrup before adding the fried balls for different flavors of your liking. Yesterday I made with butter scotch flavor. Enjoy and have fun.....
Gulab jamoon . Gulab meance Rose. You can add a few drops of food grade rose essence sugar syrup. Earliar days, we used add a few petels of pink rose during boiling sugar syrup. Soak the gulab jamoon more time in sugar syrup( size of ball should double)
Amazing, what an excellent suggestion! 🙏🏻❤️ We will definitely be trying that out in our next gulab jamun experience! Thank you for your continued support ❤️🙏🏻

Congrats for your first try ❤ While making gulab jamun dough.....grind it & strech it with your palm 4-5 times, to make the dough more soft (like pizza dough). Add more milk to make it more softer, if you want. Fry it slowly, so that it cooked from inside theoughly. If it's not cooked from inside, sugar syrup won't get soaked easily. Leave it in sugar syrup.... until you see the size of the bowl is doubled. (Yours hardly got doubled.... clearly indicating it didn't soaked up surup well). You will definitely get taste of gulab jamun, but the real fun of gulab jamun is in its spongy texture. P.S: I thought only i used to steal milk powder in my childhood 😂😂 Its international thing ..
Thank you for the tips, we will try them next time! 🙏🏻❤️ You’re absolutely right, we will try to soak them longer! 😊 Thank you for your continued support 🙏🏻❤️

When making soft gulab jamun, you can be careful by :- Avoiding over-kneading Over-kneading can make gulab jamun dense. The dough should be soft and smooth, but not too soft or hard. Frying at the right (medium ) temperature. Most important :- Frying at too high a temperature can make gulab jamun cook too quickly and be undercooked and hard in the middle. Using the right sugar syrup temperature (warm). If the syrup is too cold, the gulab jamun won't soak up the syrup.
