-Use Essense Sticks to Light Them.

Edit:- There is something called "Vath" in Marathi in which you remove the first layer of that thread(Where to light the bombs) so it takes a little more time to blast so you can run away easily.

Usually the sweeper comes the next day to clean-up all the mess of crackers that was created on Diwali night and usually, they expect 50-100 rupees tip as a Goodwill Gesture.

You can also get flying candle lamps and home tiny led lights may be so that you can decorate rather than having to fill the oil lamps. Can keep few oil lamps but decorate more with tiny small serial led lights which got colors.. Can get it from electric shop. Can be used later too for birthdays and fun party stuff. And also Rangoli floor design stickers. You can ask any rangoli design shops for big stickers for such. And on the festival day may be get some flowers. and sweets That's all 🙂
