QK65 Lavender Switches, PC Plate, all Foams + Silicone
Hey everyone, I am sure many of you have seen or may even own the QK65, so here is mine! Definitely one of the most anticipated keyboards this year as the price was under $200 for a keyboard that offered more than most "high end" or expensive boards do. It has definitely been a game changer to the overly saturated market of 65% keyboards. I think overall , it is great and for what you pay for, the value is perfect. I like mine in particular with GMK Hen because it looks CLEAN.
If you missed out on the group buy a couple months ago, I am sure you will have another chance in the future. Links for parts below!

The Windx65 is BEAUTIFUL, but is it worth it? - Review/Thoughts
มุมมอง 7932 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey guys its good to be back! Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoyed the video! SO, what did you think of the Windx65? It certainly is one of the most unique looking keyboards I have looked at so far, but is the price justified? Also considering some of the PCB issues, was I just unlucky, or was there a lack of quality check here? Though I can't say for certain, having seen other T...

Hey guys! What did you think of the NK65 Entry Edition? This keyboard has existed for some time already, but it recently went back in stock for Q1 during January and I had to grab one! Anyway, I liked it well enough that I thought I'd share it. Like is an under exaggeration though because I truly enjoy this keeb, for all of the features you get included, it is well worth the money. มุมมอง 17K2 ปีที่แล้ว
What's up everyone? Hope you enjoyed the video, I think the mods I did to this keyboard make it sound and look amazing! I still think for $50 there aren't as many prebuilt keyboards that are as decent as this one in 2022. That said, is it worth your time to mod to look and sound good like I did? Or just buy something a little more expensive? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Also...

    Great video but I don't think you clipped the stabilizer legs properly. I don't have the board but they look flush to me before you ever clipped them. You're really just looking to see if they have the 'shock absorber' prongs that are meant to flex when the stab hits the PCB. Not all stabs need to be clipped. In fact, none that I know of except for cherry and cherry imitations need to be clipped.

    • @SkimoStories
      @SkimoStories ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, your 'bandaid mod' is called a holee mod. Bandaid mod is when you place something (usually a bandaid) between the stab and plate to make sure they don't rattle against each other. Almost like the same concept as films for switches

    Also sehr schön, dass man sich beim schmieren soviel Mühe gibt, aber es ist komplette zeitverschwendung. Beim Auftrag soviel Zeit zu vertrödeln, einen gleichmäßigen und glatten Auftrag erreichen - wofür? Das Fett verteilt sich bereits beim ersten Tastendruck genau dorthin wohin es soll. Einzig die Menge ist entscheidend. Ob da nun das Fett aufträgt wie Van Gogh oder präzise schnell die Stellen abgrast ändert nichts am Ergebnis. Zumal in der Industriellen fertigung das ganze Mithilfe eines Schwamms aufgetragen wird. Bei einem Pinsel benötigt man schon viel mehr Zeit und Gefühl um die Menge zu kontrollieren, gerade bei Nidrigviskosem Schmierstoff. Mit einem Schwammpinsel geht das ganze schneller und wesentlich einfacher.

    Interesting, how long does the lube last after this process? I wouldnt mind getting this done. I just got myself a ducky 60%, my first one. Makes a difference in gaming positioning and I'm not super satisfied with the sound, but I tend to like quiet switches. So I'm not clicking away into my dedicated mics while I stream.

    do you recommend getting this or getting GMMK, asking as for the base and build quality and modding options? both are available in my country and GMMK is like 15$ cheaper coming with gatrreon brown ( i do have a set of otuemo red) vs the ducky coming in cherry red which do you think is a better option to have for beginner moddiing experience?

    • @pickbrandon5583
      @pickbrandon5583 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for watching! First off, I think you should consider which keyboard fits your preferences more, as the GMMK is a 75% board with a volume knob, and this particular Ducky one 3 is a 60% layout, so there are some trade offs. If you're not concerned about the direct F-row and you're okay without direct arrow keys, then the ducky is the way to go. Also, there would be (arguably) less modding work put into the Ducky as there are fewer switches needed. Hope that helps and good luck dude!

    • @ibrahimmohammed3484
      @ibrahimmohammed3484 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pickbrandon5583 Oh sorry i actually meant the old gmmk, not the v2 or pro it's very similar to the ducky, i need to have a decent keyboard as a base for future upgrades so i need good keycaps, stabilizers and base i don't like that ducky is all plastic, gmmk has aluminum i don't like ducky colors gmmk has APS keycaps vs ducky ducky has foam and rubber i can sacrifice the look but can't make up my mind which would be a good investment as beginner base gmmk is 15$ cheaper, i wonder if you have both the keyboards to help me decide

    • @pickbrandon5583
      @pickbrandon5583 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey good question! My only bad experience with stabilizers has been stock plate mounted stabs, but if you have a PCB that can do screw in stabs, you will find there are far fewer problems. Honestly, the only way you can have bad stabs overall is if you improperly lube them. My favorites so far have been Owlab stabs though, you won't regret them. Durok V2's aren't bad, and Swagkeys Stab V2 are good as well. Best of luck dude!
