Our family has 9 decades of cooking experience, which began with our great-grandfather Mohammed Rashid in the 1930s - cooking at community events in a tiny village in North-East Pakistan. His food became legendary and was influenced by traditional Pakistani dishes such as Biriani, Jhelum and Handi.
Our grandfather Mirza Rashid moved the business to Nakodar and set up a bustling local restaurant. In 1969, our father Mohammad Rashid brought our family passion to the UK. in 2001, we took over the business and transformed it into The Balti House, an award-winning restaurant in Rishton.

How to Make Healthy Masala Eggs | Authentic Cooking Recipe | @TheBaltiBrothers
Looking for a quick and nutritious recipe? Learn how to make Healthy Masala Eggs with an authentic twist in this easy-to-follow video by @TheBaltiBrothers! Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner, this flavorful dish is packed with spices, protein, and fresh ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 2 Chef's Spoons of Oil
- 1 Diced Onion
- Half tbsp Salt
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- 2 Sliced Green Chilies
- Half tbsp Chili Powder
- Pinch of Turmeric Powder
- 4 Eggs
- Handful of Fresh Coriander
Cooking Process:
1- Heat 2 chef's spoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
2- Add the diced onion and sauté until golden brown.
3- Stir in the salt, chili powder, and a pinch of turmeric powder, letting the spices release their aroma.
4- Add the chopped tomato and sliced green chilies, cooking until the tomatoes soften and combine with the spices.
5- Crack in 4 eggs and gently stir, cooking until the eggs are scrambled and well incorporated with the masala.
6- Garnish with a handful of fresh coriander and serve hot.

Only one way to make masala eggs, that's the masala way!
Well done done young lady, your confidence will grow. A suggested addition to this recipe is a handful of already browned mince meat when the eggs are nearing being cooked.

Bhai saab..Garam masal is in the list...I didn't see you put it in?
No cardamons? No cloves? No bay leaves? No cumin powder/seeds? No curry powder? No smoked paprika? This is a curry, i expected at least some Madras curry powder in the chicken. And more Garam Masala, not just that tiny bit. At least double that amount.

I have cooked your recipes hundreds of times over the last 3 years - and trust me when I say hundreds, it is no exaggeration. Thank you for providing two more options. You are the best at what you do. Other channels over complicate things with base gravy and all the other stuff. Your recipes can be made in less than 1 hour, sometimes less than 30 minutes, always easy, no fuss, and amazing flavours. Let’s not forget also how healthy these recipes are!

This looks great. I think the written recipe is wrong, as you used 1tsp Black pepper in the video, but the recipe says 1 TBSP!

I don't eat lamb so I will substitute it with minced beef. Also my wife hates the taste coriander so that's out. I don't have a kahari pan so I use my wok. Does that pan work on induction stove?
