I watch massive amounts of cooking videos on TH-cam and it's very rare that the person cooking is so pleasant to watch, that I don't fast-forward the video and I just watched the whole thing without fast-forwarding and the food really looks delicious, now going to watch all the other videos on your account, thanks!
As a former cook of Asian cuisine - having been taught by a Karachi born and bred Family - there is so much effort in the cooking process when it comes to good Curry and such respect and appreciation of ingredients - the result is the great reward at the end. Watching Chef Hussain was an absolute pleasure and I will try this recipe. What a wonderful video and chef who is a pleasure to watch!
Faraz Haider Jaffry - if Chef Hussain says it’s Pilau then it’s Pilau. It’s probably different to what you call Pilau but each chef, area will have their own version of Pilau. (I’m all Pilaued out now 😐)
I stumbled on this channel and it looks like it might be a gold mine. It has all kinds of recipes I've never never heard but at least _look_ really good.
I made this tonight. It was great! Note: The written recipe does not include tomatoes; Don't forget to add them. Instead of curry powder, I added equal parts coriander and GM as in the video. Thank you for a great recipe, Chef Hussain!
you are pakistani Brits. Why are you ashamed to state that your restaurant serves Pakistani food ? Why do you say that's Indian cuisine ? Are you ashamed to say you are pakistani ? We Indians never advertise Indian restaurants as Pakistani cuisine ? Itni bechaini to say you are Indian ?

I've made a few of your recipes now and shared the food with friends. They really loved it. They didn't believe me when I showed them your TH-cam channel. They thought I made some other sorcery to make the food so nice. Thank you so much for sharing your food with the world, and how you calmly present making it. It makes it so easy to follow. My fridge is never empty of something tasty thanks to you all.
People moaning about hygiene and gloves and hairnets/beardnets.....do Gordon Ramsay or the Hairy bikers wear them when they're cooking for demonstration/video purposes? I think not. Do people complain? Again, I think Not! Hussain, thank you for sharing your delicious family recipe with the world. I'm going to make this it looks beautiful. 👍
Exactly...there was absolutely nothing wrong with this video and everything was clean and hygienic. But alas, because it's by a so-called Non-Caucasian, hygiene is brought up.
@Patriot Rising 1916 lolll get rif of all those unsightly large open pores first, then come back and pick this up 🤣🤣🤣. Awww...we understand your "pore" plight.😂🖕
From a food safety standpoint you should always wash your hands after handling raw meat. After touching the raw chicken he touches corriander and the serving dish, but he's making a video. He probably doesn't do it when he's working. Some food safety managers believe beard snoods increase the risk of hair contamination because people touch their face more. Food preparers should never ever wear gloves (unless its for personal safety) as you don't know if a glove is dirty, but you do know if your skin is.
wha t a great bloke! I love the clarity of his explanation, the care he takes making his dish and his total expertise. I would love to sit down and dine with him some time.
You sir, are a gift to humanity. My wife and I absolutely love what you do and thank you for sharing it with us. We're in Ontario, Canada and can only hope that one day we can be in Lancashire to be honored by your food.

A very laid back but very good description , presentation of cooking a chicken Balti . Will certainly give it a try within a few days . Like Hussain’s style . Will look for more meal recipe’s from this blog

It's very refreshing to see a true master at work using simple natural ingredients that are not difficult to obtain. I shall be trying this one at home.

Thanks for taking the time out to show your technique of how to cook a family traditional style balti .. If im ever in Rishton im coming to see you Thanks Chef ....

Hussain, I've tried all of your curry recipes. All have been great. I really enjoy your videos, they are very easy to follow and never involve ingredients that I cannot obtain. I am perhaps lucky here in that Dudley, close to where I live has three very good Asian cash and carries. What I would say however is that if you still hope to get your subscriber list up to 100k then you need to get more videos on screen. I think that these should concentrate more on the curry dishes as I am sure that they are the ones most people would go for. e.g. Dupiaza, Dansak, Pathi, Vindaloo, Korma etc.
