(and bring you more motivation) can consider treat your future videos like a video lesson for your kids and apprentices to refer to for learning purposes as well, which can save your time and improve video content quality maybe can also do more of the stack homes type of format then maybe got more views since appeal to larger pool of youtube audience:) thanks Rhys for always educating everyone and being an trustworthy person, i truly appreciate your contributions

regarding the burnout, take frequent breaks too, research show someone who schedule time to travel every quarter do much better at work(more motivated etc)

@@ritchiewantschange Really appreciate your kind words and support. Rhys has been shooting close to 500 videos since we started. It is true that it is draining especially when we see him working so hard. (For the old timers, we have seen Rhys fainted at job sites before and even when he broke his ribs, he insisted to meet customers in office and carry on filming, only we behind the scenes know how hard he works to bring food to everyone’s table) That is one of the reasons our team turnover rate is very low, all of us in Reno Scout truly respect Rhys and his work ethics, but we also understand why he will burn out. We are not machines, we took up some of his responsibilities and step up so he can now have more time to pursue other interests.

if im hearing correctly, basically the lack of motivation is caused by overwork and also he is unable to pursue challenging interests cus he cant detach too much from the groundwork(thru means like hiring more & delegating work etc. cus wna maintain standard) ? i think to resolve the issue is to gradually raise your premium/profit margin which is tricky cus you might lose some competitive edge in terms of pricing however you dont lack customers now so thats alright by doing so can help keep the company finances sustainable, allow budget for hiring more, hiring more (eg. to delegate some of the quality inspection works/site visits which Rhys does, or delegate other tasks for the employees to even out the share of work) helps reduce workload for everyone hence reducing burnout of employer and employees what are your thoughts?

@@Magurosenbei Yes. Actually it is more complex than this. For complicated mechanisms, even our senior carpenters need to go for training to learn how to install these systems.

@@Magurosenbei Yes. You are right. The beams will affect the layout of the rooms as well. But there are “beamless” flats been designed as we speak.

@@viviancc1484 Yes we do have E0 and E1 materials for customers to upgrade to. Currently as we speak in year 2024, the laser edge banding machinery have not been used in Singapore yet. Hence we are still using EVA method for the ABS trimming of cabinet doors.

@@lt4675 So sorry to hear that. As we speak in year 2024, This high VOC material is still currently the status quo for many renovation companies unless home owners specifically request low VOC materials and write it into the contract.
