The Sourdough Trials : Hamburger Buns For Your Next Cookout PLUS The Weekly Bake Crisis Averted

With grilling season in full swing, I had to try some sourdough hamburger buns. If you're looking for a soft bun, this is not the recipe for you. This bun is sturdy enough, however, to hold up to a big, juicy burger. Add sesame seeds to the top or not--it's up to you!
The weekly bake this week was once again my standard 80/20 (bread flour/wheat flour) loaf. Somehow my oven got turned off, so I had to improvise to try to get it baked.
