Bought my 2017 C7 Z06 euro model new, here in the Uk. I love this car, it is a bit of a handful on our narrow roads and the steering wheel is on the "wrong" side, but it gets a lot of attention on this side of the pond, being so rare.

These are cars, it's just rock chips. Ive never bothered to care about other peoples rock chips on their cars. The only one that really cares is your own OCD. One of my co-workers had his Tesla PPF'ed and ceramic coated. Unfortunately he got rear ended. Insurance paid for the car but not the 6.5k he put down for the PPF and Ceramic. He either had to sue them or take the hit. PPF isn't going to save the car from a collision and you'll be out the $$ or go through the burden of claims court. Spend that money on a nice vacation or your next car :)

I have a 2015 Z51. Never had to turn gas nozzle upside down. I have heard of this issue before but never experienced it in mine.🤷‍♂

My Michelin run-flats lasted over 30k miles.

THAT Throttle body size difference would only be slightly noticeable up top if at all especially with no other modifications, but I see what you're doing👍👍👍👍💰💰💰💰

C7 z06 beats a huracan

My advice would be to avoid a 3LZ (or 3LT for a stingray). At lot of the Vettes with nappa leather dashes (including my previous 3LT) have issues with the leather delaminating and bubbling up on the dash and it cost about $9k for the replacement dash and labor to replace it. I have a 2LT Stingray now and the murano leather is in perfect condition for a 2017. 1 and 2LT/LZs don't have the delamination issue.

How do you log maintenance so it shows up

I’m currently looking for either a 6th gen ZL1 or a C7 Z06 because I had a 2SS, but someone crashed into me last year, and still in bed because of it (mainly due to some fractures on my spine, but I’ll recover without issues according to the doctors), so now I wanna upgrade to one of those, but since both cars have the same engine, I’m still undecided about.

these shouldve only came in manual like the c6 zo6 and zr1.

My manual transmission is weird until it warms up. After that, it's smooth as butter.

I spoke to you once before. I can’t remember the conversation. My question. I have the same 2016 Z as you. My first and second gears are notchy when shifting. If I’m careful I can prevent it from happening. Is this NORMAL. I love my manual. BTW, Great job on this video. Now I remember. It was about Launching. My tail is all over the place. I can live with that. What tires do you recommend to get MORE grip. Thanks. And again, great video.

I have a Manual 2017 GS with the Cornerstone X-pipe. I love the x-pipe but am looking for more! I am so happy I found this video because this is what I have been looking for! How much louder did the extreme make the exhaust from x-pipe with NPP mufflers to X-pipe with extreme? Sufficient amount to justify the $3,000?

The car doesn’t hook up or grip because you’re running crappy, expensive run flats. Get some real tires and have it towed

Save your money 💰, buy flex fuel kit, tune it and on E50% it will pick up 50+ rwhp.

You can do pulley work but def needs a tune for that. More boost creates more heat so more than a few highway runs will start to produce less power due to timing retard.

Tony knows about relearn procedures. Ask him for his. The ECU always needs to learn any differences in air behavior. It can only help the TB produce the most hp.

Sounds good. But I know that Soler at least offers a long TB relearn procedure. Take notice for best results. Tony should have his own. I don't think which one you use matters but it's pretty involved.

Mine just got stolen. Im in shambles. Curious to buy the new z06. But also man. The c7 z06 is insane. A violent fun car that will never bore you. Also its timeless design. But also can get insane gas mileage. I had and want a 19 again. 😢

Do you know if the throttle body is CARB compliant / could be an issue during a smog check?

Informative, thanks. How about re-doing part of a PPF? a year ago I had full front PPF and the front bumper is horrendous but the rest is ok. If I had an other shop re-do the bumper only, and they possibly used a different type of film, would it be noticeable (white car FYI).

Not that the corvette has been a blue collar guys car for a while but with all considered it’s probably a good price point. 19ZR1s are still around 150-160k

Just another tip, if you get a roto fab big gulp intake it will make it a LOT louder!

Got 2017 No heat issues 8speed.... I drive more aggressive than you can... Manual getting that now add to the collection, but great video minus your 2016 heat issues, that was remedied in 2017
