Just picked my GMT II rootbeer from my AD yesterday and I am still in shock that I finally got it! Absolutely stunning piece

I didnt know it looks that thick and bulky but absolutely the most beautiful Rolex.

Do not like the Wimbledon. I don’t get its popularity as gray is considered the least fashionable color.

The collection can be trimmed down as there is a lot of redundancy. Pretty much all are sadly hyped watches.

Great collection

This is one of the most boring watches ever. It has no character whatsoever. Is that dial a circle or is it octagonal? Or is it something in between? That shape reminds of an old TV screen. The dial is looks like the surface of a football. I would feel bad if I had to pay $50 for that hiddeous thing. I certainly would never wear it. This watch proofs that most people with way too much money have no taste at all.

This rootbeer is the only Rolex where I genuinely believe a two-tone version is better than the Solid Gold version. Solid gold doesnt sparkle like the 2 tone. The steel makes the rose gold really look amazing.

Rolex and all the high luxury brands do the same, the watches are made and available but the want you to think the piece is so exclusive that is not available topically you out your name on the list and they wait time to call you just to make the search more dramatic . They also control the second hand market . Its all a game that you are willing to play until you learn enough and have enough watches in your coleccione💸💸💸💸💵💵💵💵 they make you feel exclusive and luxurious but bottom line we are just idiots looking for that special piece that is going to give us the next status level.

If I have to pick i 9:24 it would be Wimbledon dial with oyster and smooth bezel timeless and modern. If you pick Jubilee then must be fluted bezel are best combo.

Thank you for the video. I own the Santos 39.8mm 2 tone, and my girlfriend rocks the 39.8mm in stainless steel. The main issue is that the bezels are prone to scratch easily. However, both of these build materials are easily polished. I'm told the black Santos has a much more scratch resistant finish. But what recourse does a potential buyer have if they do manage to scratch this model? Thank you in advance to anyone that can answer my question.

Santos looks elegant yet sporty. Submersible looks very sporty and looks like a watch that can actually take a beating. I think the Cartier is more versatile, it can be worn with anything. It can be that one watch collection piece, whereas with the Panerai you would need another watch. No clear winner for me personally though, I like them both! But if it would be one watch, then i’m going for Cartier.

Colored GMT bezels look like kiddie watches, quite unattractive and like toys. The best looking Rolex GMT watch is the newest GMT with elegant and classic Grey/Black bezel that puts all the rest of the red, blue, green and root-beer colored bezels to shame. I just bought the new gorgeous GMT which is called the Bruce Wayne model. If you too, like me, have good taste then look for Rolex GMT II model 126710GRNR.
