I have L99 engine and dealing with weird running engine everything’s been done to find the issue low missfire counts on two cylinders 4-8 tried smoke test but didn’t see anything but intake is same design as yours So Iam going guess there leak in intake manifold just to small or location of it smoke test cant get to
Replace your plugs and coils if you haven't already. If you're still getting misfires do a leakdown test to check the health of your valvetrain. Good luck

I just got a 2007 987.1 Cayman S, and I have already built a mod list. Second on that list is catless headers, and if it even comes close to the improvement of sound that yours had I will be thrilled!

If you're looking for reliability get a c6 or c7. The c5 had a lot of problems
@ I will follow your advice thanks! I would even be willing to wait and save more to get the c7 it it’s much better than the c6 because i just don’t have the time or willibgness to deal with junk headaches

Are you still active i need to ask a question on the cannards. Your last bolt near the duct end how is the bracket setup? The area is so small there did you sandwhich a bracket between the bottom portion and top?
Mine are not real voltex so they came with metal L brackets. A couple of them I remember shaving down to fit. The authentic ones have a flat surface to mount directly to the car with no L brackets and should fit perfectly

M50 manifolds I unfortunately can't get behind. You lose all your usable low end torque. Best you can do is add some timing in the lower rpms to bring it somewhat back to life. Unless you're boosted or living near redline for track use it's a useless mod

I have MS43, this whole program seems to be setup around MS41. Will this work for my ECU?
Correct this is not for ms43.

Hi, did you re-use your main cap bolts and do you think is it ok to re-use them if i keep stock hp? Engine has never been dissasembled before so i am the first to do it, so bolts have not been abused. It is M54B22(170hp) that i am talking about. Thanks if you answer! Have a good one.
Yes the main bolts can be reused one time

98 and you probably need a dealer level tool or a snap on scanner if you want to do ABS stuff.

Did you get any Check Engine Light after the install (during the drive)? I assume those mini cats must be working.
I still got a check engine light even with the mini cats. These cars calibrate the front o2s from the rears so it's a careful balance of how restrictive it should be. I ended up going back to stock. No tuners would touch the code I was throwing due to EPA crackdowns

You need to burn a chip yourself or just find a performance chip on ebay.

Dude you're a freaking boss for doing these videos! auto subscribed haha I do have a question about the link modelled fueling, after switching to that mode i get a new table called "charge temp approximation", now if i have a fuel temp sensor and the ecu knows the fuel temp (at least at the tank) why do I need to approximate the charge temp? and also on which data do you base this approximation? thanks in advance:)
I honestly don't know much about those tables I just used the defaults

I'm not sure what you're asking. You can't control the automatic transmission with these ecus and I don't think the stock transmission ecu will talk to these
I double clutch my ‘07 C6 Z50 Rag-Top and @ 150K KM don’t have any Synchro/Clutch issues. Car runs great on repeated “Banzai “ runs at Balls out speeds , Autobahn long distance bouts.’ Not a Race-Car but a quaint little fun Car.
You shouldn't have to double clutch a modern sports car. I think the concept is just silly. The car should be able to handle general driving like every other car

at about 29 minute marker you mentioned the name Peter and 7 and you werent sure what it meant, so i looked up the Bible verse and it mentions "gold". maybe souls or even demons want to convey how we should live so we dont meet with the same detriment. it is my personal belief that some souls have to relive the day they died over and over as their version of hell. ive heard several hell testimonials that said when they died for a length of time and came back that is exactly what they experienced. say like when men are killed in battle and people say they see war veterans from that era dressed in garb from then. theyre often appearing the same way to different people. i believe that demons will copycat humans too just to get you to interact with them, but maybe there are truly souls that have died there and the demons that oversee them.
I know this is late but my m52 is currently NA and i was thinking changing over to vems right now do you think its a good idea in a sense that my engine will run good with it being naturally aspirated ? (Also does that vacuum tube that you put from the vems ecu go to the intake manifold? And can you remove SAP easily?)

I got to do this job in a few weeks on my back I'm curious because I only have to change out the throwout bearing the clutch is still good it's only 2 years old the throwout bearing is just defective and leaking do you think I can do it with just sliding the transmission back a few inches and slipping in the new throwout bearing
There's no room to just slide it back, by the the the splines are off the engine it's fully off anyways

I have a 2000 limited all stock. I have abs light on my dash. Got abs code 41. and my 4runner shakes a lot when I'm faster than 40 mph and hit the brakes... I believe the pump and control unit is not functioning properly. I'm thinking of deleting it.

bro for link ecu for lambda sensor, i have to use the Link CAN-Lambda to connect the lambda sensor? cant i wire it directly to the ecu?
For my specific plug and play I had to use the can bus version, your results may vary.

Hey would you be able to list what to set up and tune 1st, 2nd and 3rd and so on? Like ve table first to be able to start the car and then do ignition timing etc
Sensor calibration, timing light, dial back your spark table, then VE, then finally ignition (preferably on a dyno unless you have knock sensors)

So would you say ignition timing is possible while tuning on the public road? I’ve seen people saying you can’t hit all the load cells even with the left foot braking technique
Ignition timing tuning is only possible if you have your knock sensors properly setup or on a dyno. No exceptions. This is how you can hurt your engine tuning
