I made an envelope purse using the $1.25 felt rectangles from Hobby Lobby. I used a brown zebra print on the inside (lining), and the brown faux leather felt on the outside. 3 of each. Instead of a triangular flap, i made a half circle. Sewed small little loops on each side, and purchased a heavy-duty gold purse chain w/the lobster clasp on each end. Then i bought the round magnetic metal snaps for the closure. All materials were about $10 or less. I did this after watching your video making the drying mat tote. The purse isnt perfect, but i know what to do differently next time! Thank you!

This is so much easier than most of the methods I've tried! Looking foward to trying this method.

Chelsea you are a doll! You are so upbeat but I learned my lesson about upbeat people with Robin Williams so I want you to know you brighten my day. You help lighten my mood after a long day of pain. I have Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia and severe degenerative disc disease so I know pain. God is awesome everyday and I feel like He finds people like you to help me. You make me happy and you make a difference in my life so I want you to know that you matter to me. ❤

Even if they only had a couple of hours per day with a subject matter expert, they would have a leg up. I think part of the issue is the assumption that it’s all or nothing; either it’s all day every day or not at all. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Made my first one today!!! I’ve watched this video so many times I think I could make one in my sleep now BUT it is a really easy project. Forgot to take a pic though 😢. My friend is going on a cruise on Sunday and she loves sea turtles. I found dish mats with sea turtles on them and she loved the tote. My handles turned out a little too long but tying a knot in them brought them to the right length. Thank you for sharing your beautiful self with the world. 💖

And as Chelsea has done before, you can cut out a "fake" lining. Cut lining fabric (same size as fabric) and sew it to the fabric (pretty sides together and leave opening for turning out, then sew opening shut). Then continue as usual.
