This game kicked my ass when it came to emotions. There were highs like destroying the Arquebus fleet in Breach the Karman Line and lows like killing Walter, Red, Ayre, Michigan, Chatty, Carla, and Rusty. If the mecha game didn't hit you in the feels at any points, you didn't pay attention.

The gameplay of Armored Core VI isn't the one that gives you depression. Its the Story and characters and the fact you'll have to kill lots of them in the end...

The respect Michigan gives in the fight, and the fact that he constantly tries to discredit his troops from even fighting and to just run. And just hearing "Hey Buddy" makes me feel shit now. And lastly the messages Walter leaves for the endings are beautiful.

I just noticed listening to this, so we know that Carla never made a backup of Chatty, because she felt like it would erase part of what made more than just an A.I. based on the fact that we never see Chatty after he’s beaten in other endings, we can assume he agrees with that, and yet when you kill him he says, “I’ll take us over the finish line, even though there’s clearly no chance of him being recovered from his AC to be reconnected to the ship, which means he’s probably making a backup within the ships systems to take over for them.

Those parts are only avaiable on New Game+++, which mean you have seen all the endings. Glutton for emotional punishment I see.

Michigan is the most based character in AC6. That's because Iguazu isn't confident enough, because that dude grew on me too. I like the Red Guns, they're some nice group.

Armored Core shows the cost of being the tide-turning change

It would have been so unnecessary, but if during fights like Carla and Chatty, I would have liked to be able to stop all inputs and have that tell the AI to stop as well, at least for a few seconds. Just a few seconds to mourn with my opponent, to at least tell them this isn’t how I wanted it to be.

idk if anyone can relate because most people ive talked to about this said they just dont gaf about Swinburne but i genuinely felt so bad after killing him, like you can literally hear his voice tremble as he tries to seem like he has the situation under control when you decline his offer AND his last words are "WAAIT NO! PLEASE!" like that one genuinely messed me up even if its a side character theres just so much humanity cracking through his cold and corporate facade in his voicelines when he starts losing the fight

nah because the fact that some people say this is "realistic so it makes sense for that to happen" or "skill issue" 😭 realistic ≠ good game play Yes, the concept of realism can change based on the rules the media establishes but generally if it sticks to realism for its rules it could lead to unfun design choices, . I- frames don't exist just for freebee purposes ,they are there for balancing reasons to ensure fair gameplay . So it's always so cringe when i see threads of people who bring up a legitimate points of re4( 2023) issues and for them to be all like " it's realistic " like they lose their gamer sweat privilege cause they beat re4 pro S rank and have to be higher then everyone. And this is coming from someone who loves RE4 (2023), has over 100 hours in it , is still playing it and has platinum'd it

The moment i met michigan and the other red guns i wanted to side with them. They were some of my favourite characters and to watch them die or even kill them sucked so much

This game made me feel emotions I haven't felt since I played Mass Effect. That is esteemed company.
