@@ReRe22467 i "could" but i wouldn't achieve anything, only thing that will change is that i wont be able to shift in the biggest cogs. There is a proper length for every bike/drivetrain, if its too tight it wont shift in the biggest cogs. If its too long it will be saggy and will be completely loose, chain in the video is properly sized! Channel called Park Tool has a really nice video about it just search CHAIN SLAP. 🙂

@mrzayzay NO!!! This is not a bmx or a single speed bike. Its a mountain bike with 10 gerars, chain is properly sized!!!! Learn about chain slap and how derailleur works before commenting

@sadeemkhan5244 learn how derailleur works 😉, and watch a video about chain slap maybe you will understand a little bit..

@FactionalSky lmao 🤣, then why all newer mountain bikes have protector just like the one in the video on the exact part of the frame?? You think people just like to waste money and time in to designing something thats completely useless?? Do me and yourself a favor and google CHAIN SLAP and read a little bit about it 😉

@@Nexxxx it's so the frame does not get damaged in case it does happen. Because a frame or rear arm is more expensive than a piece of plastic. Still it should not happen. 🤷

@FactionalSky it WILL HAPPEN thats just how derailleur works man, park tool has a nice video about it just type in CHAIN SLAP on youtube, on flat ground it SHOULD NOT happen, but on rough terrain your derailleur will move forward and backwards because of the impact when going over bumps and it will make chain "loose" and hit your frame, if the derailleur was fixed in one place it would solve that problem but then it wouldn't be able to shift 😉

@FactionalSky man... i give up, some people are just to stupid, did you watch the park tools video about chain slap??? I assume you didnt. Its a side effect of a derailleur, it needs to move so it can shift in all the gears... its not about i should or shouldn't it DOES hit your frame no matter what bike you have.. thats why they put it there, of course it wont happend on flat ground but if you ride your enduro bike like its supposed to than it will hit

Yeah. They want to sell their crap. That is why they tell people it will be the solution. Ofc. it does protect the frame. But it's not the real solution. 🤷

Well, i am the one who has actually bought it, and you didnt so i can tell from the experience.. so i had it on my bike for 1 year and 8 months now, it didnt srart peeling, even though i pressure wash my bike. So far so good, thats why i made a video about it, i dont promote shitty products, i am a bit different 😉

1year and 8 months, still on the bike 😊 no issues so far. Just need to prep the frame well, thats all, even when pressure washing 😉
